Luke 12 in Tamil

1 அத்தருணத்திலே அநேகமாயிரம் ஜனங்கள் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் மிதிக்கத்தக்கதாகக் கூடிவந்திருக்கையில், அவர் முதலாவது தம்முடைய சீஷரை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் மாயமாகிய பரிசேயருடைய புளித்தமாவைக்குறித்து எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள். In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

2 வெளியாக்கப்படாத மறைபொருளுமில்லை, அறியப்படாத இரகசியமுமில்லை. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

3 ஆதலால், நீங்கள் இருளிலே பேசினது எதுவோ, அது வெளிச்சத்திலே கேட்கப்படும்; நீங்கள் அறைகளில் காதிலே சொன்னது எதுவோ, அது வீடுகளின்மேல் கூறப்படும். Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

4 என் சிநேகிதராகிய உங்களுக்கு நான் சொல்லுகிறேன்: சரீரத்தைக் கொலைசெய்து, அதன்பின்பு அதிகமாக ஒன்றும் செய்யத் திராணியில்லாதவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படாதிருங்கள். And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

5 நீங்கள் இன்னாருக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டுமென்று உங்களுக்குக் காண்பிக்கிறேன்: கொலைசெய்தபின்பு நரகத்திலே தள்ள வல்லமையுள்ளவருக்குப் பயப்படுங்கள்; ஆம், அவருக்கே பயப்படுங்களென்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

6 இரண்டு காசுக்கு ஐந்து அடைக்கலான் குருவிகளை விற்கிறார்களல்லவா? அவைகளில் ஒன்றாகிலும் தேவனால் மறக்கப்படுகிறதில்லை. Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?

7 உங்கள் தலையிலுள்ள மயிரெல்லாம் எண்ணப்பட்டிருக்கிறது, ஆகையால் பயப்படாதிருங்கள், அநேகம் அடைக்கலான் குருவிகளைப்பார்க்கிலும் நீங்கள் விசேஷித்தவர்களாயிருக்கிறீர்கள். But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

8 அன்றியும் நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்: மனுஷர் முன்பாக என்னை அறிக்கைபண்ணுகிறவன் எவனோ அவனை மனுஷகுமாரனும் தேவதூதர் முன்பாக அறிக்கைபண்ணுவார். Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

9 மனுஷர் முன்பாக என்னை மறுதலிக்கிறவன் தேவதூதர் முன்பாக மறுதலிக்கப்படுவான். But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

10 எவனாகிலும் மனுஷகுமாரனுக்கு விரோதமான விசேஷத்தைச் சொன்னால் அது அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்; பரிசுத்த ஆவிக்கு விரோதமாய்த் தூஷணஞ்சொல்லுகிறவனுக்கோ மன்னிக்கப்படுவதில்லை. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

11 அன்றியும், ஜெபஆலயத்தலைவர்களுக்கும் துரைத்தனத்தார்களுக்கும் அதிகாரமுள்ளவர்களுக்கும் முன்பாக உங்களைக் கொண்டுபோய் விடும்போது: எப்படி, என்னத்தை மாறுத்தரமாகச் சொல்லுவோம் என்றும், எதைப் பேசுவோமென்றும் கவலைப்படாதிருங்கள். And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

12 நீங்கள் பேசவேண்டியவைகளைப் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் அந்நேரத்திலே உங்களுக்குப் போதிப்பார் என்றார். For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

13 அப்பொழுது ஜனக்கூட்டத்தில் ஒருவன் அவரை நோக்கி: போதகரே, ஆஸ்தியைப் பாகம்பிரித்து என் வீதத்தை எனக்குத் தரும்படி என் சகோதரனுக்குக் கட்டளையிடவேண்டும் என்று கேட்டுக்கொண்டான். And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.

14 அதற்கு அவர்: மனுஷனே, என்னை உங்களுக்கு நியாயாதிபĠοயாகவும் பங்கிடுகிறவனாகՠρம் வைத்தவன் யார் என்றார். And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?

15 பின்பு அவர் அவர்களை நோக்கி: பொருளாசையைக்குறித்து எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்; ஏனெனில் ஒருவனுக்கு எவ்வளவு திரளான ஆஸ்தி இருந்தாலும் அது அவனுக்கு ஜீவன் அல்ல என்றார். And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

16 அல்லாமலும், ஒரு உவமையை அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னார்: ஐசுவரியமுள்ள ஒருவனுடைய நிலம் நன்றாய் விளைந்தது. And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

17 அப்பொழுது அவன்: நான் என்ன செய்வேன்? என் தானியங்களைச் சேர்த்து வைக்கிறதற்கு இடமில்லையே; And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

18 நான் ஒன்று செய்வேன், என் களஞ்சியங்களை இடித்து, பெரிதாகக் கட்டி, எனக்கு விளைந்த தானியத்தையும் என் பொருள்களையும் அங்கே சேர்த்து வைத்து, And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

19 பின்பு: ஆத்துமாவே, உனக்காக அநேக வருஷங்களுக்கு அநேகம் பொருள்கள் சேர்த்துவைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; நீ இளைப்பாறி, புசித்துக் குடித்து, பூரிப்பாயிரு என்று என் ஆத்துமாவோடே சொல்லுவேன் என்று தனக்குள்ளே சிந்தித்துச் சொல்லிக்கொண்டான். And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

20 தேவனோ அவனை நோக்கி: மதிகேடனே, உன் ஆத்துமா உன்னிடத்திலிருந்து இந்த இராத்திரியிலே எடுத்துக் கொள்ளப்படும், அப்பொழுது நீ சேகரித்தவைகள் யாருடையதாகும் என்றார். But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

21 தேவனிடத்தில் ஐசுவரியவானாயிராமல், தனக்காகவே பொக்கிஷங்களைச் சேர்த்துவைக்கிறவன் இப்படியே இருக்கிறான் என்றார். So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

22 பின்னும் அவர் தம்முடைய சீஷரை நோக்கி: இப்படியிருக்கிறபடியினால், என்னத்தை உண்போம் என்று உங்கள் ஜீவனுக்காகவும், என்னத்தை உடுப்போமென்று உங்கள் சரீரத்துக்காகவும் கவலைப்படாதிருங்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

23 ஆகாரத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் ஜீவனும், உடையைப்பார்க்கிலும் சரீரமும் விசேஷித்தவைகளாயிருக்கிறது . The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

24 காகங்களைக் கவனித்துப்பாருங்கள், அவைகள் விதைக்கிறதுமில்லை அறுக்கிறதுமில்லை, அவைகளுக்குப் பண்டசாலையுமில்லை, களஞ்சியமுமில்லை, இல்லாவிட்டாலும் அவைகளையும் தேவன் பிழைப்பூட்டுகிறார்; பறவைகளைப்பார்க்கிலும் நீங்கள் எவ்வளவோ விசேஷித்தவர்களாயிருக்கிறீர்கள். Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

25 கவலைப்படுகிறதினால் உங்களில் எவன் தன் சரீர அளவோடு ஒரு முழத்தைக் கூட்டுவான். And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?

26 மிகவும் அற்பமான காரியமுதலாய் உங்களால் செய்யக்கூடாதிருக்க, மற்றவைகளுக்காக நீங்கள் கவலைப்படுகிறதென்ன? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?

27 காட்டுப்புஷ்பங்கள் எப்படி வளருகிறதென்று கவனித்துப்பாருங்கள்; அவைகள் உழைக்கிறதுமில்லை, நூற்கிறதுமில்லை, என்றாலும் சாலொமோன் முதலாய் தன் சர்வ மகிமையிலும் அவைகளில் ஒன்றைப்போலாகிலும் உடுத்தியிருந்ததில்லை என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

28 இப்படியிருக்க, அற்பவிசுவாசிகளே, இன்றைக்குக் காட்டிலிருந்து நாளைக்கு அடுப்பிலே போடப்படுகிற புல்லுக்கு தேவன் இவ்விதமாக உடுத்துவித்தால், உங்களுக்கு உடுத்துவிப்பது அதிக நிச்சயமல்லவா? If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

29 ஆகையால், என்னத்தை உண்போம், என்னத்தைக் குடிப்போம் என்று, நீங்கள் கேளாமலும் சந்தேகப்படாமலும் இருங்கள். And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.

30 இவைகளையெல்லாம் உலகத்தார் நாடித் தேடுகிறார்கள்; இவைகள் உங்களுக்கு வேண்டியவைகளென்று உங்கள் பிதாவானவர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார். For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

31 தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையே தேடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக் கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும். But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

32 பயப்படாதே சிறுமந்தையே, உங்களுக்கு ராஜ்யத்தைக் கொடுக்க உங்கள்பிதா பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார். Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

33 உங்களுக்கு உள்ளவைகளை விற்றுப் பிச்சைகொடுங்கள், பழமையாய்ப் போகாத பணப்பைகளையும் குறையாத பொக்கிஷத்தையும் பரலோகத்திலே உங்களுக்குச் சம்பாதித்துவையுங்கள், அங்கே திருடன் அணுகுகிறதுமில்லை, பூச்சி கெடுக்கிறதுமில்லை. Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

34 உங்கள் பொக்கிஷம் எங்கே இருக்கிறதோ அங்கே உங்கள் இருதயமும் இருக்கும். For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

35 உங்கள் அரைகள் கட்டப்பட்டதாகவும், உங்கள் விளக்குகள் எரிகிறதாகவும், Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

36 தங்கள் எஜமான் கலியாணத்திலிருந்து வந்து தட்டும்போது, உடனே அவருக்குத் திறக்கும்படி எப்பொழுது வருவார் என்று காத்திருக்கிற மனுஷருக்கு ஒப்பாகவும் இருங்கள். And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

37 எஜமான் வரும்போது, விழித்திருக்கிறவர்களாகக் காணப்படுகிற ஊழியக்காரரே பாக்கியவான்கள். அவர் அரை கட்டிக்கொண்டு, அவர்களைப் பந்தியிருக்கச்செய்து, சமீபமாய் வந்து, அவர்களுக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்வார் என்று மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

38 அவர் இரண்டாம் ஜாமத்திலாவது மூன்றாம் ஜாமத்திலாவது வந்து, அவர்கள் அப்படியே இருக்கக்கண்டால், அவ்வூழியக்காரர் பாக்கியவான்கள். And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

39 திருடன் இன்ன நேரத்தில் வருவானென்று வீட்டெஜமானுக்குத் தெரிந்திருந்தால், அவன் விழித்திருந்து, தன் வீட்டைக் கன்னமிடவொட்டான் என்று அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்கள். And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

40 அந்தப்படியே நீங்கள் நினையாத நேரத்தில் மனுஷகுமாரன் வருவார், ஆகையால் நீங்களும் ஆயத்தமாயிருங்கள் என்றார். Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

41 அப்பொழுது பேதுரு அவரை நோக்கி: ஆண்டவரே, இந்த உவமைகளை எங்களுக்குமாத்திரம் சொல்லுகிறீரோ, எல்லாருக்கும் சொல்லுகிறீரோ என்று கேட்டான். Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?

42 அதற்குக் கர்த்தர்: பணிவிடைக்காரருக்குத் தகுதியான காலத்திலே படிகொடுக்கும்படி எஜமான் அவர்கள் மேலதிகாரியாக வைக்கத்தக்க உண்மையும் விவேகமுமுள்ள விசாரணைக்காரன் யாவன்? And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?

43 எஜமான் வரும்போது அப்படியே செய்கிறவனாய்க் காணப்படுகிற ஊழியக்காரன் பாக்கியவான். Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

44 தனக்குள்ளதெல்லாவற்றின்மேலும் அவனை விசாரணைக்காரனாக வைப்பான் என்று மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன். Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

45 அந்த ஊழியக்காரனோ, என் எஜமான் வர நாள் செல்லும் என்று தனக்குள்ளே சொல்லிக்கொண்டு, வேலைக்காரரையும் வேலைக்காரிகளையும் அடிக்கவும், புசித்துக் குடித்து வெறிக்கவும் தலைப்பட்டால், But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

46 அவன் நினையாத நாளிலும், அறியாத நேரத்திலும், அந்த ஊழியக்காரனுடைய எஜமான் வந்து, அவனைக் கடினமாய்த் தண்டித்து, உண்மையில்லாதவர்களோடே அவனுக்குப் பங்கை நியமிப்பான். The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

47 தன் எஜமானுடைய சித்தத்தை அறிந்தும் ஆயத்தமாயிராமலும் அவனுடைய சித்தத்தின்படி செய்யாமலும் இருந்த ஊழியக்காரன் அநேக அடிகள் அடிக்கப்படுவான் And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

48 அறியாதவனாயிருந்து, அடிகளுக்கு ஏதுவானவைகளைச் செய்தவனோ சில அடிகள் அடிக்கப்படுவான். எவனிடத்தில் அதிகங் கொடுக்கப்படுகிறதோ அவனிடத்தில் அதிகங் கேட்கப்படும்; மனுஷர் எவனிடத்தில் அதிகமாய் ஒப்புவிக்கிறார்களோ அவனிடத்தில் அதிகமாய்க் கேட்பார்கள் But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

49 பூமியின்மேல் அக்கினியைப் போட வந்தேன், அது இப்பொழுதே பற்றி எரிய வேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகிறேன். I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

50 ஆகிலும் நான் முழுகவேண்டிய ஒரு ஸ்நானமுண்டு அது முடியுமளவும் எவ்வளவோ நெருக்கப்படுகிறேன். But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!

51 நான் பூமியிலே சமாதானத்தை உண்டாக்க வந்தேன் என்று நினைக்கிறீர்களோ? சமாதானத்தையல்ல, பிரிவினையையே உண்டாக்க வந்தேன் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

52 எப்படியெனில், இதுமுதல் ஒரே வீட்டிலே ஐந்துபேர் பிரிந்திருப்பார்கள், இரண்டுபேருக்கு விரோதமாய் மூன்றுபேரும், மூன்றுபேருக்கு விரோதமாய் இரண்டுபேரும் பிரிந்திருப்பார்கள். For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

53 தகப்பன் மகனுக்கும் மகன் தகப்பனுக்கும், தாய் மகளுக்கும் மகள் தாய்க்கும், மாமி மருமகளுக்கும் மருமகள் மாமிக்கும் விரோதமாய்ப் பிரிந்திருப்பார்கள் என்றார். The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

54 பின்பு அவர் ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: மேற்கே மேகம் எழும்புகிறதை நீங்கள் காணும்போது, மழை வருமென்று சொல்லுகிறீர்கள்; அந்தப்படியுமாகும். And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.

55 தென்றல் அடிக்கிறதை நீங்கள் காணும்போது உஷ்ணம் உண்டாகுமென்று சொல்லுகிறீர்கள், அந்தப்படியுமாகும். And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.

56 மாயக்காரரே, பூமியின் தோற்றத்தையும் வானத்தின் தோற்றத்தையும் நிதானிக்க உங்களுக்குத் தெரியுமே, இந்தக் காலத்தையோ நிதானியாமற்போகிறதென்ன? Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?

57 நியாயம் இன்னதென்று நீங்களே தீர்மானியாமலிருக்கிறதென்ன? Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?

58 உனக்கு எதிராளியானவன் உன்னை அதிகாரியினிடத்திற்குக் கொண்டுபோகிறபோது, வழியிலேதானே அவனிடத்திலிருந்து விடுதலையாகும்படி பிரயாசப்படு, இல்லாவிட்டால், அவன் உன்னை நியாயாதிபதிக்கு முன்பாகக் கொண்டுபோவான், நியாயாதிபதி உன்னைச் சேவகனிடத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பான், சேவகன் உன்னைச் சிறைச்சாலையில் போடுவான். When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.

59 நீ கடைசிக்காசைக் கொடுத்துத் தீர்க்குமட்டும், அவ்விடத்திலிருந்து புறப்படமாட்டாய் என்று உனக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார். I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.

1 Aththarunaththilae anaekamaayiram janangal oruvarai oruvar mithikkaththakkathaakak kootivanthirukkaiyil, avar muthalaavathu thammutaiya seesharai Nnokki: neengal maayamaakiya pariseyarutaiya puliththamaavaikkuriththu echcharikkaiyaayirungal. 2 Veliyaakkappadaatha maraiporulumillai, ariyappadaatha irakasiyamumillai. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

3 Aathalaal, neengal irulilae paesinathu ethuvo, athu velichchaththilae kaetkappadum; neengal araikalil kaathilae sonnathu ethuvo, athu veedukalinmael koorappadum. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

4 En sinaekitharaakiya ungalukku naan sollukiraேn: sareeraththaik kolaiseythu, athanpinpu athikamaaka ontum seyyath thiraanniyillaathavarkalukkup payappadaathirungal. And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

5 Neengal innaarukkup payappadavaenndumentu ungalukkuk kaannpikkiraேn: kolaiseythapinpu narakaththilae thalla vallamaiyullavarukkup payappadungal; aam, avarukkae payappadungalentu ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

6 Iranndu kaasukku ainthu ataikkalaan kuruvikalai virkiraarkalallavaa? Avaikalil ontakilum thaevanaal marakkappadukirathillai. Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?

7 Ungal thalaiyilulla mayirellaam ennnappattirukkirathu, aakaiyaal payappadaathirungal, anaekam ataikkalaan kuruvikalaippaarkkilum neengal viseshiththavarkalaayirukkireerkal. But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

8 Antiyum naan ungalukkuch sollukiraேn: manushar munpaaka ennai arikkaipannnukiravan evano avanai manushakumaaranum thaevathoothar munpaaka arikkaipannnuvaar. Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

9 Manushar munpaaka ennai maraுthalikkiravan thaevathoothar munpaaka maraுthalikkappaduvaan. But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

10 Evanaakilum manushakumaaranukku virothamaana viseshaththaich sonnaal athu avanukku mannikkappadum; Parisuththa aavikku virothamaayth thooshananjaொllukiravanukko mannikkappaduvathillai. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

11 Antiyum, jepaaalayaththalaivarkalukkum thuraiththanaththaarkalukkum athikaaramullavarkalukkum munpaaka ungalaik konndupoy vidumpothu: eppati, ennaththai maaraுththaramaakach solluvom entum, ethaip paesuvomentum kavalaippadaathirungal. And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

12 Neengal paesavaenntiyavaikalaip Parisuththa Aaviyaanavar annaeraththilae ungalukkup pothippaar entar. For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

13 Appoluthu janakkoottaththil oruvan avarai Nnokki: pothakarae, aasthiyaip paakampiriththu en veethaththai enakkuth tharumpati en sakotharanukkuk kattalaiyidavaenndum entu kaettukkonndaan. And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.

14 Atharku avar: manushanae, ennai ungalukku niyaayaathipaĠοyaakavum pangidukiravanaakaՠρm vaiththavan yaar entar. And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?

15 Pinpu avar avarkalai Nnokki: porulaasaiyaikkuriththu echcharikkaiyaayirungal; aenenil oruvanukku evvalavu thiralaana aasthi irunthaalum athu avanukku jeevan alla entar. And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

16 Allaamalum, oru uvamaiyai avarkalukkuch sonnaar: aisuvariyamulla oruvanutaiya nilam nantay vilainthathu. And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

17 Appoluthu avan: naan enna seyvaen? En thaaniyangalaich serththu vaikkiratharku idamillaiyae; And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

18 Naan ontu seyvaen, en kalanjiyangalai itiththu, perithaakak katti, enakku vilaintha thaaniyaththaiyum en porulkalaiyum angae serththu vaiththu, And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

19 Pinpu: aaththumaavae, unakkaaka anaeka varushangalukku anaekam porulkal serththuvaikkappattirukkirathu; nee ilaippaari, pusiththuk kutiththu, poorippaayiru entu en aaththumaavotae solluvaen entu thanakkullae sinthiththuch sollikkonndaan. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

20 Thaevano avanai Nnokki: mathikaedanae, un aaththumaa unnidaththilirunthu intha iraaththiriyilae eduththuk kollappadum, appoluthu nee sekariththavaikal yaarutaiyathaakum entar. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

21 Thaevanidaththil aisuvariyavaanaayiraamal, thanakkaakavae pokkishangalaich serththuvaikkiravan ippatiyae irukkiraan entar. So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

22 Pinnum avar thammutaiya seesharai Nnokki: ippatiyirukkirapatiyinaal, ennaththai unnpom entu ungal jeevanukkaakavum, ennaththai uduppomentu ungal sareeraththukkaakavum kavalaippadaathirungal entu ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

23 Aakaaraththaippaarkkilum jeevanum, utaiyaippaarkkilum sareeramum viseshiththavaikalaayirukkirathu . The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

24 Kaakangalaik kavaniththuppaarungal, avaikal vithaikkirathumillai araுkkirathumillai, avaikalukkup panndasaalaiyumillai, kalanjiyamumillai, illaavittalum avaikalaiyum Dhevan pilaippoottukiraar; paravaikalaippaarkkilum neengal evvalavo viseshiththavarkalaayirukkireerkal. Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

25 Kavalaippadukirathinaal ungalil evan than sareera alavodu oru mulaththaik koottuvaan. And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?

26 Mikavum arpamaana kaariyamuthalaay ungalaal seyyakkoodaathirukka, mattavaikalukkaaka neengal kavalaippadukirathenna? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?

27 Kaattuppushpangal eppati valarukirathentu kavaniththuppaarungal; avaikal ulaikkirathumillai, noorkirathumillai, entalum saalomon muthalaay than sarva makimaiyilum avaikalil ontaippolaakilum uduththiyirunthathillai entu ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

28 Ippatiyirukka, arpavisuvaasikalae, intaikkuk kaattilirunthu naalaikku aduppilae podappadukira pullukku Dhevan ivvithamaaka uduththuviththaal, ungalukku uduththuvippathu athika nichchayamallavaa? If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

29 Aakaiyaal, ennaththai unnpom, ennaththaik kutippom entu, neengal kaelaamalum santhaekappadaamalum irungal. And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.

30 Ivaikalaiyellaam ulakaththaar naatith thaedukiraarkal; ivaikal ungalukku vaenntiyavaikalentu ungal pithaavaanavar arinthirukkiraar. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

31 Thaevanutaiya raajyaththaiyae thaedungal, appoluthu ivaikalellaam ungalukkuk koodak kodukkappadum. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

32 Payappadaathae siraுmanthaiyae, ungalukku raajyaththaik kodukka ungalpithaa piriyamaayirukkiraar. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

33 Ungalukku ullavaikalai vittaுp pichchaைkodungal, palamaiyaayp pokaatha panappaikalaiyum kuraiyaatha pokkishaththaiyum paralokaththilae ungalukkuch sampaathiththuvaiyungal, angae thirudan anukukirathumillai, poochchi kedukkirathumillai. Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

34 Ungal pokkisham engae irukkiratho angae ungal iruthayamum irukkum. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

35 Ungal araikal kattappattathaakavum, ungal vilakkukal erikirathaakavum, Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

36 Thangal ejamaan kaliyaanaththilirunthu vanthu thattumpothu, udanae avarukkuth thirakkumpati eppoluthu varuvaar entu kaaththirukkira manusharukku oppaakavum irungal. And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

37 Ejamaan varumpothu, viliththirukkiravarkalaakak kaanappadukira ooliyakkaararae paakkiyavaankal. Avar arai kattikkonndu, avarkalaip panthiyirukkachcheythu, sameepamaay vanthu, avarkalukku ooliyanjaெyvaar entu meyyaakavae ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

38 Avar iranndaam jaamaththilaavathu moontam jaamaththilaavathu vanthu, avarkal appatiyae irukkakkanndaal, avvooliyakkaarar paakkiyavaankal. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

39 Thirudan inna naeraththil varuvaanentu veettejamaanukkuth therinthirunthaal, avan viliththirunthu, than veettaைk kannamidavottan entu arinthirukkireerkal. And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

40 Anthappatiyae neengal ninaiyaatha naeraththil manushakumaaran varuvaar, aakaiyaal neengalum aayaththamaayirungal entar. Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

41 Appoluthu paethuru avarai Nnokki: aanndavarae, intha uvamaikalai engalukkumaaththiram sollukireero, ellaarukkum sollukireero entu kaettan. Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?

42 Atharkuk Karththar: pannivitaikkaararukkuth thakuthiyaana kaalaththilae patikodukkumpati ejamaan avarkal maelathikaariyaaka vaikkaththakka unnmaiyum vivaekamumulla visaarannaikkaaran yaavan? And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?

43 Ejamaan varumpothu appatiyae seykiravanaayk kaanappadukira ooliyakkaaran paakkiyavaan. Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

44 Thanakkullathellaavattinmaelum avanai visaarannaikkaaranaaka vaippaan entu meyyaakavae ungalukkuch solkiraேn. Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

45 Antha ooliyakkaarano, en ejamaan vara naal sellum entu thanakkullae sollikkonndu, vaelaikkaararaiyum vaelaikkaarikalaiyum atikkavum, pusiththuk kutiththu verikkavum thalaippattal, But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

46 Avan ninaiyaatha naalilum, ariyaatha naeraththilum, antha ooliyakkaaranutaiya ejamaan vanthu, avanaik katinamaayth thanntiththu, unnmaiyillaathavarkalotae avanukkup pangai niyamippaan. The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

47 Than ejamaanutaiya siththaththai arinthum aayaththamaayiraamalum avanutaiya siththaththinpati seyyaamalum iruntha ooliyakkaaran anaeka atikal atikkappaduvaan And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

48 Ariyaathavanaayirunthu, atikalukku aethuvaanavaikalaich seythavano sila atikal atikkappaduvaan. Evanidaththil athikang kodukkappadukiratho avanidaththil athikang kaetkappadum; manushar evanidaththil athikamaay oppuvikkiraarkalo avanidaththil athikamaayk kaetpaarkal But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

49 Poomiyinmael akkiniyaip poda vanthaen, athu ippoluthae patti eriya vaenndumentu virumpukiraேn. I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

50 Aakilum naan mulukavaenntiya oru snaanamunndu athu mutiyumalavum evvalavo nerukkappadukiraேn. But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!

51 Naan poomiyilae samaathaanaththai unndaakka vanthaen entu ninaikkireerkalo? Samaathaanaththaiyalla, pirivinaiyaiyae unndaakka vanthaen entu ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

52 Eppatiyenil, ithumuthal orae veettilae ainthupaer pirinthiruppaarkal, iranndupaerukku virothamaay moontupaerum, moontupaerukku virothamaay iranndupaerum pirinthiruppaarkal. For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

53 Thakappan makanukkum makan thakappanukkum, thaay makalukkum makal thaaykkum, maami marumakalukkum marumakal maamikkum virothamaayp pirinthiruppaarkal entar. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

54 Pinpu avar janangalai Nnokki: maerkae maekam elumpukirathai neengal kaanumpothu, malai varumentu sollukireerkal; anthappatiyumaakum. And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.

55 Thental atikkirathai neengal kaanumpothu ushnam unndaakumentu sollukireerkal, anthappatiyumaakum. And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.

56 Maayakkaararae, poomiyin thottaththaiyum vaanaththin thottaththaiyum nithaanikka ungalukkuth theriyumae, inthak kaalaththaiyo nithaaniyaamarpokirathenna? Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?

57 Niyaayam innathentu neengalae theermaaniyaamalirukkirathenna? Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?

58 Unakku ethiraaliyaanavan unnai athikaariyinidaththirkuk konndupokirapothu, valiyilaethaanae avanidaththilirunthu viduthalaiyaakumpati pirayaasappadu, illaavittal, avan unnai niyaayaathipathikku munpaakak konndupovaan, niyaayaathipathi unnaich sevakanidaththil oppukkoduppaan, sevakan unnaich siraichchaாlaiyil poduvaan. When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.

59 Nee kataisikkaasaik koduththuth theerkkumattum, avvidaththilirunthu purappadamaattay entu unakkuch sollukiraேn entar. I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.
