அந்நேரமே இந்த வார்த்தை நேபுகாத்நேச்சாரிடத்தில் நிறைவேறிற்று; அவன் மனுஷரினின்று தள்ளப்பட்டு, மாடுகளைப்போல் புல்லை மேய்ந்தான்; அவனுடைய தலைமயிர் கழுகுகளுடைய இறகுகளைப்போலவும் அவனுடைய நகங்கள் பட்சிகளுடைய நகங்களைப்போலவும் வளருமட்டும் அவன் சரீரம் ஆகாயத்துப் பனியிலே நனைந்தது.

அக்காரியங்கள் உடனே நிகழ்ந்தன. நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் ஜனங்களைவிட்டு வெளியேற்றப்பட்டான். அவன் பசுவைப்போன்று புல்லைத் உண்ணத்தொடங்கினான். அவன் பனியால் நனைந்தான். அவனது தலைமுடி கழுகின் சிறகுகள் போன்று நீளமாக வளர்ந்தன. அவனது நகங்கள் பறவையின் நகத்தைப்போன்று வளர்ந்தது.
