2 Chronicles 17 in Tamil

1 அவன் ஸ்தானத்திலே அவன் குமாரனாகிய யோசபாத் ராஜாவாகி, இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பலப்பட்டான். And Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead, and strengthened himself against Israel.

2 அவன் யூதாவின் அரணான பட்டணங்களிலெல்லாம் இராணுவத்தையும், யூதாதேசத்திலும், தன் தகப்பனாகிய ஆசா பிடித்த எப்பிராயீமின் பட்டணங்களிலும் தாணையங்களையும் வைத்தான். And he placed forces in all the fenced cities of Judah, and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken.

3 கர்த்தர் யோசபாத்தோடிருந்தார்; அவன் பாகால்களைத் தேடாமல், தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது முன்நாட்களில் நடந்த வழிகளில் நடந்து, And the LORD was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim;

4 தன் தகப்பனுடைய தேவனைத் தேடி, இஸ்ரவேலுடைய செய்கையின்படி நடவாமல், அவருடைய கற்பனைகளின்படி நடந்துகொண்டான். But sought to the Lord God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.

5 ஆகையால் கர்த்தர் அவன் கையில் ராஜ்யபாரத்தைத் திடப்படுத்தினார்; யூதா கோத்திரத்தார் எல்லாரும் யோசபாததுக்குக் காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; அவனுக்கு ஐசுவரியமும் கனமும் மிகுதியாயிருந்தது. Therefore the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honor in abundance.

6 கர்த்தருடைய வழிகளில் அவன் இருதயம் உற்சாகங்கொண்டது; அவன் மேடைகளையும் விக்கிரகத் தோப்புகளையும் யூதாவை விட்டகற்றினான். And his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD: moreover he took away the high places and groves out of Judah.

7 அவன் அரசாண்ட மூன்றாம் வருஷத்தில் யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களிலே உபதேசம்பண்ணும்படிக்கு, அவன் தன் பிரபுக்களாகிய பென்னாயிலையும், ஒபதியாவையும், சகரியாவையும், நெதனெயேலையும், மிகாயாவையும், Also in the third year of his reign he sent to his princes, even to Benhail, and to Obadiah, and to Zechariah, and to Nethaneel, and to Michaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah.

8 இவர்களோடேகூடச் செமாயா, நெதனியா, செபதியா, ஆசகேல், செமிரமோத், யோனத்தான், அதோனியா, தொபியா, தோபத்தோனியா என்னும் லேவியரையும், இவர்களோடேகூட ஆசாரியரான எலிஷமாவையும், யோராமையும் அனுப்பினான். And with them he sent Levites, even Shemaiah, and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tobadonijah, Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, priests.

9 இவர்கள் யூதாவிலே உபதேசித்து, கர்த்தருடைய வேத புஸ்தகத்தை வைத்துக்கொண்டு, யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களிலƠβ்லாம் திரߠΨ்து ஜனங்களுக்குப்போதித்தாΰ்கள். And they taught in Judah, and had the book of the law of the LORD with them, and went about throughout all the cities of Judah, and taught the people.

10 யூதாՠψச் சுற்றியிருக்கிற தேசங்களுடைய ஆலயங்களின்மேலெல்லாம் கர்த்தரால் உண்டான பயங்கரம் வந்ததினால், யோசபாத்தேரடு யுத்தம்பண்ணாதிருந்தார்கள். And the fear of the LORD fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Judah, so that they made no war against Jehoshaphat.

11 பெலிஸ்தரிலும் சிலர் யோசபாத்துக்குப் பகுதிப்பணத்தோடேகூடக் காணிக்கைகளையும் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; அரபியரும் அவனுக்கு ஏழாயிரத்து எழுநூறு ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களையும், ஏழாயிரத்துஎழுநூறு வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாக்களையும் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள். Also some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat presents, and tribute silver; and the Arabians brought him flocks, seven thousand and seven hundred rams, and seven thousand and seven hundred he goats.

12 இப்படியே யோசபாத் வரவர மிகவும் பெரியவனாகி, யூதாவிலே கோட்டைகளையும், ரஸ்துக்களை வைக்கும் பட்டணங்களையும் கட்டினான். And Jehoshaphat waxed great exceedingly; and he built in Judah castles, and cities of store.

13 யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களில் அவன் பெரிய வேலைகளை நடத்தினான்; எருசலேமிலே பராக்கிரமசாலிகளான சேவகர் அவனுக்கு இருந்தார்கள். And he had much business in the cities of Judah: and the men of war, mighty men of valor, were in Jerusalem.

14 தங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி அவர்களுடைய இலக்கமாவது: யூதாவிலே ஆயிரத்துக்கு அதிபதிகளில் அத்னா தலைமையானவன்; அவனிடத்திலே பராக்கிரமசாலிகள் மூன்றுலட்சம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள். And these are the numbers of them according to the house of their fathers: Of Judah, the captains of thousands; Adnah the chief, and with him mighty men of valor three hundred thousand.

15 அவனுக்கு உதவியாக யோகனான் என்னும் சேனாபதியிருந்தான்; அவனிடத்திலே இரண்டுலட்சத்து எண்பதினாயிரம் பேர் இருந்தார்கள். And next to him was Jehohanan the captain, and with him two hundred and fourscore thousand.

16 அவனுக்கு உதவியாக கர்த்தருக்குக் தன்னை உற்சாகமாய் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்த சிக்ரியின் குமாரனாகிய அமசியா இருந்தான்; அவனிடத்திலே பராக்கிரமசாலிகள் இரண்டுலட்சம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள். And next him was Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself unto the LORD; and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valor.

17 பென்யமீனிலே எலியாதா என்னும் பராக்கிரமசாலி இருந்தான்; அவனிடத்திலே வில்லும் கேடகமும் பிடிக்கிறவர்கள் இரண்டுலட்சம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள். And of Benjamin; Eliada a mighty man of valor, and with him armed men with bow and shield two hundred thousand.

18 அவனுக்கு உதவியாக யோசபாத் இருந்தான்; அவனிடத்திலே சேவகத்திற்கு ஆயுதபாணிகள் லட்சத்து எண்பதினாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள். And next him was Jehozabad, and with him an hundred and fourscore thousand ready prepared for the war.

19 ராஜா யூதா எங்குமுள்ள அரணான பட்டணங்களில் வைத்தவர்களைத்தவிர இவர்களே ராஜாவைச் சேவித்தவர்கள். These waited on the king, beside those whom the king put in the fenced cities throughout all Judah.

1 Avan sthaanaththilae avan kumaaranaakiya yosapaath raajaavaaki, isravaelukku virothamaayp palappattan. And Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead, and strengthened himself against Israel.

2 Avan yoothaavin arannaana pattanangalilellaam iraanuvaththaiyum, yoothaathaesaththilum, than thakappanaakiya aasaa pitiththa eppiraayeemin pattanangalilum thaannaiyangalaiyum vaiththaan. And he placed forces in all the fenced cities of Judah, and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken.

3 Karththar yosapaaththotirunthaar; avan paakaalkalaith thaedaamal, than thakappanaakiya David munnaatkalil nadantha valikalil nadanthu, And the LORD was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim;

4 Than thakappanutaiya thaevanaith thaeti, isravaelutaiya seykaiyinpati nadavaamal, avarutaiya karpanaikalinpati nadanthukonndaan. But sought to the Lord God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.

5 Aakaiyaal Karththar avan kaiyil raajyapaaraththaith thidappaduththinaar; yoothaa koththiraththaar ellaarum yosapaathathukkuk kaannikkaikalaik konnduvanthaarkal; avanukku aisuvariyamum kanamum mikuthiyaayirunthathu. Therefore the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honor in abundance.

6 Karththarutaiya valikalil avan iruthayam ursaakangaொnndathu; avan maetaikalaiyum vikkirakath thoppukalaiyum yoothaavai vittakattinaan. And his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD: moreover he took away the high places and groves out of Judah.

7 Avan arasaannda moontam varushaththil yoothaavin pattanangalilae upathaesampannnumpatikku, avan than pirapukkalaakiya pennaayilaiyum, opathiyaavaiyum, sakariyaavaiyum, nethaneyaelaiyum, mikaayaavaiyum, Also in the third year of his reign he sent to his princes, even to Benhail, and to Obadiah, and to Zechariah, and to Nethaneel, and to Michaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah.

8 Ivarkalotaekoodach semaayaa, nethaniyaa, sepathiyaa, aasakael, semiramoth, yonaththaan, athoniyaa, thopiyaa, thopaththoniyaa ennum laeviyaraiyum, ivarkalotaekooda aasaariyaraana elishamaavaiyum, yoraamaiyum anuppinaan. 9 Ivarkal yoothaavilae upathaesiththu, karththarutaiya vaetha pusthakaththai vaiththukkonndu, yoothaavin pattanangalilaƠβ்laam thiraߠΨ்thu janangalukkuppothiththaaΰ்kal. And they taught in Judah, and had the book of the law of the LORD with them, and went about throughout all the cities of Judah, and taught the people.

10 Yoothaaՠψch suttiyirukkira thaesangalutaiya aalayangalinmaelellaam karththaraal unndaana payangaram vanthathinaal, yosapaaththaeradu yuththampannnnaathirunthaarkal. And the fear of the LORD fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Judah, so that they made no war against Jehoshaphat.

11 Pelistharilum silar yosapaaththukkup pakuthippanaththotaekoodak kaannikkaikalaiyum konnduvanthaarkal; arapiyarum avanukku aelaayiraththu elunooraு aattukkadaakkalaiyum, aelaayiraththuelunooraு vellaattukkadaakkalaiyum konnduvanthaarkal. Also some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat presents, and tribute silver; and the Arabians brought him flocks, seven thousand and seven hundred rams, and seven thousand and seven hundred he goats.

12 Ippatiyae yosapaath varavara mikavum periyavanaaki, yoothaavilae kottaைkalaiyum, rasthukkalai vaikkum pattanangalaiyum kattinaan. And Jehoshaphat waxed great exceedingly; and he built in Judah castles, and cities of store.

13 Yoothaavin pattanangalil avan periya vaelaikalai nadaththinaan; erusalaemilae paraakkiramasaalikalaana sevakar avanukku irunthaarkal. And he had much business in the cities of Judah: and the men of war, mighty men of valor, were in Jerusalem.

14 Thangal pithaakkalutaiya vamsangalinpati avarkalutaiya ilakkamaavathu: yoothaavilae aayiraththukku athipathikalil athnaa thalaimaiyaanavan; avanidaththilae paraakkiramasaalikal moontulatchampaer irunthaarkal. And these are the numbers of them according to the house of their fathers: Of Judah, the captains of thousands; Adnah the chief, and with him mighty men of valor three hundred thousand.

15 Avanukku uthaviyaaka yokanaan ennum senaapathiyirunthaan; avanidaththilae iranndulatchaththu ennpathinaayiram paer irunthaarkal. And next to him was Jehohanan the captain, and with him two hundred and fourscore thousand.

16 Avanukku uthaviyaaka karththarukkuk thannai ursaakamaay oppukkoduththa sikriyin kumaaranaakiya amasiyaa irunthaan; avanidaththilae paraakkiramasaalikal iranndulatchampaer irunthaarkal. And next him was Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself unto the LORD; and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valor.

17 Penyameenilae eliyaathaa ennum paraakkiramasaali irunthaan; avanidaththilae villum kaedakamum pitikkiravarkal iranndulatchampaer irunthaarkal. And of Benjamin; Eliada a mighty man of valor, and with him armed men with bow and shield two hundred thousand.

18 Avanukku uthaviyaaka yosapaath irunthaan; avanidaththilae sevakaththirku aayuthapaannikal latchaththu ennpathinaayirampaer irunthaarkal. And next him was Jehozabad, and with him an hundred and fourscore thousand ready prepared for the war.

19 Raajaa yoothaa engumulla arannaana pattanangalil vaiththavarkalaiththavira ivarkalae raajaavaich seviththavarkal. These waited on the king, beside those whom the king put in the fenced cities throughout all Judah.
