1 பின்பு தாவீதுராஜா சபையார் எல்லாரையும் நோக்கி: தேவன் தெரிந்துகொண்ட என் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோன் இன்னும் வாலிபனும் இளைஞனுமாயிருக்கிறான்; செய்யவேண்டிய வேலையோ பெரியது; அது ஒரு மனுஷனுக்கு அல்ல, தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குக் கட்டும் அரமனை. Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.

2 நான் என்னாலே இயன்றமட்டும் என் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்துக்கென்று பொன்வேலைக்குப் பொன்னையும், வெள்ளிவேலைக்கு வெள்ளியையும், வெண்கலவேலைக்கு வெண்கலத்தையும், இரும்புவேலைக்கு இரும்பையும், மரவேலைக்கு மரத்தையும், பதிக்கப்படத்தக்க, அந்தியுள்ள கற்களையும், பலவருணக் கற்களையும், விலையேறப்பெற்ற சகலவித ரத்தினங்களையும், வெண்கற்பாளங்களையும், கோமேதக முதலிய கற்களையும் ஏராளமாகச் சவதரித்தேன். Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colors, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.

3 இன்னும் என் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின்மேல் நான் வைத்திருக்கிற வாஞ்சையினால், பரிசுத்த ஆலயத்துக்காக நான் சவதரித்த அனைத்தையும் தவிர, எனக்குச் சொந்தமான பொன்னையும் வெள்ளியையும் என் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்துக்கென்று கொடுக்கிறேன். Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house.

4 அறைகளின் சுவர்களை மூடுவதற்காகவும், பொன்வேலைக்குப் பொன்னும், வெள்ளிவேலைக்கு வெள்ளியும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறதற்காகவும், கம்மாளர் செய்யும்வேலை அனைத்திற்காகவும, ஓப்பீரின் தங்கமாகிய மூவாயிரம் தாலந்து தங்கத்தையும், சுத்த வெள்ளியாகிய ஏழாயிரம் தாலந்து வெள்ளியையும் கொடுக்கிறேன். Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses withal:

5 இப்போதும் உங்களில் இன்றையதினம் கர்த்தருக்குத் தன் கைக்காணிக்கைகளைச் செலுத்த மனப்பூர்வமானவர்கள் யார் என்றான். The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?

6 அப்பொழுது வம்சங்களின் பிரபுக்களும், இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்களின் பிரபுக்களும், ஆயிரம்பேருக்கு அதிபதிகளும், நூறுபேருக்கு அதிபதிகளும், ராஜாவின் வேலைக்காரராகிய பிரபுக்களும் மனப்பூர்வமாய், Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king's work, offered willingly,

7 தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்து வேலைக்கு ஐயாயிரம் தாலந்து பொன்னையும், பதினாயிரம் தங்கக்காசையும், பதினாயிரம் தாலந்து வெள்ளியையும், பதினெண்ணாயிரம் தாலந்து வெண்கலத்தையும், லட்சம் தாலந்து இரும்பையும் கொடுத்தார்கள். And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.

8 யார் கையில் ரத்தினங்கள் இருந்ததோ, அவர்கள் அவைகளையும் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துப் பொக்கிஷத்திற்கென்று கெர்சோனியனான யெகியேலின் கையிலே கொடுத்தார்கள். And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.

9 இப்படி மனப்பூர்வமாய்க் கொடுத்ததற்காக ஜனங்கள் சந்தோஷப்பட்டார்கள்; உத்தம இருதயத்தோடே உற்சாகமாய்க் கர்த்தருக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; தாவீது ராஜாவும் மிகவும் சந்தோஷப்பட்டான். Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

10 ஆகையால் தாவீது சபை அனைத்தின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் கர்த்தருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம் செலுத்திச் சொன்னது எங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, சதாகாலங்களிலும் தேவரீருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம் உண்டாவதாக. Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.

11 கர்த்தாவே, மாட்சிமையும் வல்லமையும் மகிமையும் ஜெயமும் மகத்துவமும் உம்முடையவைகள்; வானத்திலும் பூமியிலும் உள்ளவைகளெல்லாம் உம்முடையவைகள்; கர்த்தாவே, ராஜ்யமும் உம்முடையது; தேவரீர் எல்லாருக்கும் தலைவராய் உயர்ந்திருக்கிறீர். Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

12 ஐசுவரியமும் கனமும் உம்மாலே வருகிறது; தேவரீர் எல்லாவற்றையும் ஆளுகிறவர்; உம்முடைய கரத்திலே சத்துவமும் வல்லமையும் உண்டு; எவரையும் மேன்மைப்படுத்தவும் பலப்படுத்தவும் உம்முடைய கரத்தினால் ஆகும். Both riches and honor come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

13 இப்போதும் எங்கள் தேவனே, நாங்கள் உமக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம் செலுத்தி, உமது மகிமையுள்ள நாமத்தைத் துதிக்கிறோம். Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

14 இப்படி மனப்பூர்வமாய்க் கொடுக்கும் திராணி உண்டாவதற்கு நான் எம்மாத்திரம்? என் ஜனங்கள் எம்மாத்திரம்? எல்லாம் உம்மால் உண்டானது; உமது கரத்திலே வாங்கி உமக்குக் கொடுத்தோம். But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.

15 உமக்கு முன்பாக நாங்கள் எங்களுடைய பிதாக்கள் எல்லாரைப்போலும் அரதேசிகளும் பரதேசிகளுமாயிருக்கிறோம்; பூமியின்மேல் எங்கள் நாட்கள் ஒரு நிழலைப்போல இருக்கிறது; நிலைத்திருப்போம் என்னும் நம்பிக்கையில்லை. For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.

16 எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய பரிசுத்த நாமத்திற்கென்று உமக்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுகிறதற்கு, நாங்கள் சவதரித்திருக்கிற இந்தப்பொருள்கள் எல்லாம் உமது கரத்திலிருந்து வந்தது; எல்லாம் உம்முடையது. O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.

17 என் தேவனே, நீர் இருதயத்தைச் சோதித்து, உத்தம குணத்தில் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறீர் என்பதை அறிவேன்; இவையெல்லாம் நான் உத்தம இருதயத்தோடே மனப்பூர்வமாய்க் கொடுத்தேன்; இப்பொழுது இங்கேயிருக்கிற உம்முடைய ஜனமும் உமக்கு மனப்பூர்வமாய்க் கொடுக்கிறதைக் கண்டு சந்தோஷித்தேன். I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.

18 ஆபிரகாம் ஈசாக்கு இஸ்ரவேல் என்னும் எங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உமது ஜனத்தின் இருதயத்தில் உண்டான இந்தச் சிந்தையையும் நினைவையும் என்றைக்கும் காத்து, அவர்கள் இருதயத்தை உமக்கு நேராக்கியருளும். O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:

19 என் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோன் உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளையும் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளையும் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளையும் கைக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கும், இவைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்து, நான் ஆயத்தம்பண்ணின இந்த அரமனையைக்கட்டும்படிக்கும், அவனுக்கு உத்தம இருதயத்தைத் தந்தருளும் என்றான். And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.

20 அதின்பின்பு தாவீது சபை அனைத்தையும் நோக்கி: இப்போது உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள் என்றான்; அப்பொழுது சபையார் எல்லாரும் தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரித்து, தலை குனிந்து கர்த்தரையும் ராஜாவையும் பணிந்துகொண்டு, And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.

21 கர்த்தருக்குப் பலியிட்டு, மறுநாளிலே சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளாக ஆயிரம் காளைகளையும், ஆயிரம் ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களையும், ஆயிரம் ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளையும், அவைகளுக்கடுத்த பானபலிகளையும் இஸ்ரவேல் அனைத்திற்காகவும் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தினார்கள். And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the morrow after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:

22 அவர்கள் அன்றையதினம் மிகுந்த சந்தோஷத்தோடு கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாகப் போஜனபானம்பண்ணி, தாவீதின் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோனை இரண்டாம்விசை ராஜாவாக்கி, கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக அவனை அதிபதியாகவும், சாதோக்கை ஆசாரியனாகவும் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினார்கள். And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.

23 அப்படியே சாலொமோன் தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதின் ஸ்தானத்திலே, கர்த்தருடைய சிங்காசனத்தில் ராஜாவாய் வீற்றிருந்து பாக்கியசாலியாயிருந்தான்; இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும் அவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்திருந்தார்கள். Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.

24 சகல பிரபுக்களும் பராக்கிரமசாலிகளும் தாவீது ராஜாவினுடைய சகல குமாரருங்கூட ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோனுக்கு அடங்கியிருந்தார்கள். And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.

25 இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும் காணக் கர்த்தர் சாலொமோனை மிகவும் பெரியவனாக்கி, அவனுக்கு முன்னே இஸ்ரவேலில் ராஜாவான ஒருவனுக்கும் இல்லாதிருந்த ராஜரிக மகத்துவத்தை அவனுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார். And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.

26 இவ்விதமாய் ஈசாயின் குமாரனாகிய தாவீது இஸ்ரவேல் அனைத்துக்கும் ராஜாவாயிருந்தான். Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.

27 அவன் இஸ்ரவேலை அரசாண்ட நாட்கள் நாற்பதுவருஷம்; எப்ரோனிலே ஏழுவருஷமும், எருசலேமிலே முப்பத்துமூன்று வருஷமும் ராஜாவாயிருந்தான். And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.

28 அவன் தீர்க்காயுசும் ஐசுவரியமும் மகிமையுமுள்ளவனாய் நல்ல முதிர்வயதிலே மரணமடைந்தபின், அவன் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோன் அவன் ஸ்தானத்திலே அரசாண்டான். And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.

29 தாவீது ராஜாவினுடைய ஆதியோடந்தமான நடபடிகளும், அவன் அரசாண்ட விபரமும், அவனுடைய வல்லமையும், அவனுக்கும் இஸ்ரவேலுக்கும், அந்தந்த தேசங்களின் ராஜ்யங்கள் அனைத்துக்கும் நடந்த காலசம்பவங்களும், Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,

30 ஞானதிருஷ்டிக்காரனாகிய சாமுவேலின் பிரபந்தத்திலும், தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிய நாத்தானின் பிரபந்தத்திலும், ஞானதிருஷ்டிக்காரனாகிய காத்தின் பிரபந்தத்திலும் எழுதியிருக்கிறது. With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries.

1 Pinpu Davidraajaa Sabaiyaar ellaaraiyum Nnokki: Dhevan therinthukonnda en kumaaranaakiya saalomon innum vaalipanum ilainjanumaayirukkiraan; seyyavaenntiya vaelaiyo periyathu; athu oru manushanukku alla, thaevanaakiya karththarukkuk kattum aramanai. Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.

2 Naan ennaalae iyantamattum en thaevanutaiya aalayaththukkentu ponvaelaikkup ponnaiyum, vellivaelaikku velliyaiyum, vennkalavaelaikku vennkalaththaiyum, irumpuvaelaikku irumpaiyum, maravaelaikku maraththaiyum, pathikkappadaththakka, anthiyulla karkalaiyum, palavarunak karkalaiyum, vilaiyaerappetta sakalavitha raththinangalaiyum, vennkarpaalangalaiyum, komaethaka muthaliya karkalaiyum aeraalamaakach savathariththaen. Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colors, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.

3 Innum en thaevanutaiya aalayaththinmael naan vaiththirukkira vaanjaiyinaal, Parisuththa aalayaththukkaaka naan savathariththa anaiththaiyum thavira, enakkuch sonthamaana ponnaiyum velliyaiyum en thaevanutaiya aalayaththukkentu kodukkiraேn. Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house.

4 Araikalin suvarkalai mooduvatharkaakavum, ponvaelaikkup ponnum, vellivaelaikku velliyum unndaayirukkiratharkaakavum, kammaalar seyyumvaelai anaiththirkaakavuma, oppeerin thangamaakiya moovaayiram thaalanthu thangaththaiyum, suththa velliyaakiya aelaayiram thaalanthu velliyaiyum kodukkiraேn. Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses withal:

5 Ippothum ungalil intaiyathinam karththarukkuth than kaikkaannikkaikalaich seluththa manappoorvamaanavarkal yaar entan. The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?

6 Appoluthu vamsangalin pirapukkalum, Israel koththirangalin pirapukkalum, aayirampaerukku athipathikalum, nooraுpaerukku athipathikalum, raajaavin vaelaikkaararaakiya pirapukkalum manappoorvamaay, Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king's work, offered willingly,

7 Thaevanutaiya aalayaththu vaelaikku aiyaayiram thaalanthu ponnaiyum, pathinaayiram thangakkaasaiyum, pathinaayiram thaalanthu velliyaiyum, pathinennnnaayiram thaalanthu vennkalaththaiyum, latcham thaalanthu irumpaiyum koduththaarkal. And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.

8 Yaar kaiyil raththinangal irunthatho, avarkal avaikalaiyum karththarutaiya aalayaththup pokkishaththirkentu kersoniyanaana yekiyaelin kaiyilae koduththaarkal. And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.

9 Ippati manappoorvamaayk koduththatharkaaka janangal santhoshappattarkal; uththama iruthayaththotae ursaakamaayk karththarukkuk koduththaarkal; David raajaavum mikavum santhoshappattan. Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

10 Aakaiyaal David Sabai anaiththin kannkalukku munpaakavum karththarukku Sthoththiram seluththich sonnathu engal thakappanaakiya isravaelin thaevanaakiya karththaavae, sathaakaalangalilum thaevareerukku Sthoththiram unndaavathaaka. Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.

11 Karththaavae, maatchimaiyum vallamaiyum makimaiyum jeyamum makaththuvamum ummutaiyavaikal; vaanaththilum poomiyilum ullavaikalellaam ummutaiyavaikal; karththaavae, raajyamum ummutaiyathu; thaevareer ellaarukkum thalaivaraay uyarnthirukkireer. Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

12 Aisuvariyamum kanamum ummaalae varukirathu; thaevareer ellaavattaைyum aalukiravar; ummutaiya karaththilae saththuvamum vallamaiyum unndu; evaraiyum maenmaippaduththavum palappaduththavum ummutaiya karaththinaal aakum. Both riches and honor come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

13 Ippothum engal thaevanae, naangal umakku Sthoththiram seluththi, umathu makimaiyulla naamaththaith thuthikkirom. Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

14 Ippati manappoorvamaayk kodukkum thiraanni unndaavatharku naan emmaaththiram? En janangal emmaaththiram? Ellaam ummaal unndaanathu; umathu karaththilae vaangi umakkuk koduththom. But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.

15 Umakku munpaaka naangal engalutaiya pithaakkal ellaaraippolum arathaesikalum parathaesikalumaayirukkirom; poomiyinmael engal naatkal oru nilalaippola irukkirathu; nilaiththiruppom ennum nampikkaiyillai. For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.

16 Engal thaevanaakiya karththaavae, ummutaiya Parisuththa naamaththirkentu umakku oru aalayaththaik kattukiratharku, naangal savathariththirukkira inthapporulkal ellaam umathu karaththilirunthu vanthathu; ellaam ummutaiyathu. O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.

17 En thaevanae, neer iruthayaththaich sothiththu, uththama kunaththil piriyamaayirukkireer enpathai arivaen; ivaiyellaam naan uththama iruthayaththotae manappoorvamaayk koduththaen; ippoluthu ingaeyirukkira ummutaiya janamum umakku manappoorvamaayk kodukkirathaik kanndu santhoshiththaen. I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.

18 Abraham eesaakku Israel ennum engal pithaakkalin thaevanaakiya karththaavae, umathu janaththin iruthayaththil unndaana inthach sinthaiyaiyum ninaivaiyum entaikkum kaaththu, avarkal iruthayaththai umakku naeraakkiyarulum. O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:

19 En kumaaranaakiya saalomon ummutaiya karpanaikalaiyum ummutaiya saatchikalaiyum ummutaiya kattalaikalaiyum kaikkollumpatikkum, ivaikal ellaavattaைyum seythu, naan aayaththampannnnina intha aramanaiyaikkattumpatikkum, avanukku uththama iruthayaththaith thantharulum entan. And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.

20 Athinpinpu David Sabai anaiththaiyum Nnokki: ippothu ungal thaevanaakiya karththarai sthoththiriyungal entan; appoluthu Sabaiyaar ellaarum thangal pithaakkalin thaevanaakiya karththarai sthoththiriththu, thalai kuninthu karththaraiyum raajaavaiyum panninthukonndu, And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.

21 Karththarukkup paliyittu, maraுnaalilae sarvaanga thakanapalikalaaka aayiram kaalaikalaiyum, aayiram aattukkadaakkalaiyum, aayiram aattukkuttikalaiyum, avaikalukkaduththa paanapalikalaiyum Israel anaiththirkaakavum karththarukkuch seluththinaarkal. And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the morrow after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:

22 Avarkal antaiyathinam mikuntha santhoshaththodu karththarukku munpaakap pojanapaanampannnni, thaaveethin kumaaranaakiya saalomonai iranndaamvisai raajaavaakki, karththarukku munpaaka avanai athipathiyaakavum, saathokkai aasaariyanaakavum apishaekampannnninaarkal. And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.

23 Appatiyae saalomon than thakappanaakiya thaaveethin sthaanaththilae, karththarutaiya singaasanaththil raajaavaay veettirunthu paakkiyasaaliyaayirunthaan; isravaelar ellaarum avanukkuk geelppatinthirunthaarkal. Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.

24 Sakala pirapukkalum paraakkiramasaalikalum David raajaavinutaiya sakala kumaararungaூda raajaavaakiya saalomonukku adangiyirunthaarkal. And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.

25 Isravaelar ellaarum kaanak Karththar saalomonai mikavum periyavanaakki, avanukku munnae isravaelil raajaavaana oruvanukkum illaathiruntha raajarika makaththuvaththai avanukkuk kattalaiyittar. And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.

26 Ivvithamaay eesaayin kumaaranaakiya David Israel anaiththukkum raajaavaayirunthaan. Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.

27 Avan isravaelai arasaannda naatkal naarpathuvarusham; epronilae aeluvarushamum, erusalaemilae muppaththumoontu varushamum raajaavaayirunthaan. And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.

30 Njaanathirushtikkaaranaakiya saamuvaelin pirapanthaththilum, theerkkatharisiyaakiya naaththaanin pirapanthaththilum, njaanathirushtikkaaranaakiya kaaththin pirapanthaththilum eluthiyirukkirathu.
