কিন্তু য়োয়াব উত্তর দিলেন, “প্রভু তাঁর লোকদের শতগুণ বাড়িযে চলুন! মহারাজ, ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত বাসিন্দাই তো আপনার অনুগত ভৃত্য| কেন আপনি এই কাজ করতে চাইছেন? আপনি সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলীয়দের পাপের ভাগী করবেন|”
