Proverbs 23
1 যখন তুমি কোন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ব্যক্তির সঙ্গে বসে খাওয়া-দাওযা করছো তখন মনে রেখো তুমি কার সঙ্গে বসে আছো|
2 কখনও বেশী খেও না এমনকি ক্ষুধার্ত থাকলেও নয়|
3 সে যদি সুখাদ্যের আয়োজন করে তাহলেও বেশী খেও না কারণ এটা একটা চালাকিও হতে পারে|
1 When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:
2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.
3 Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.
