শতপতি যখন যীশুর কথা শুনতে পেলেন তখন ইহুদীদের কয়েকজন নেতাকে দিয়ে যীশুর কাছে বলে পাঠালেন, য়েন যীশু এসে তার দাসের জীবন রক্ষা করেন৷
