Matthew 4 - YLT (Bengali)

1 Then Jesus was led up to the wilderness by the Spirit, to be tempted by the Devil,এরপর দিয়াবল য়েন যীশুকে পরীক্ষা করতে পারে তাই আত্মা যীশুকে প্রান্তরে নিয়ে গেলেন৷

2 and having fasted forty days and forty nights, afterwards he did hunger.একটানা চল্লিশ দিন ও চল্লিশ রাত সেখানে উপোস করে কাটানোর পর যীশু ক্ষুধিত হলেন৷

3 And the Tempter having come to him said, `If Son thou art of God -- speak that these stones may become loaves.'তখন সেই পরীক্ষক দিয়াবল তাঁর কাছে এসে বলল, ‘তুমি যদি ঈশ্বরের পুত্র হও, তবে এই পাথরগুলিকে রুটিতে পরিণত হতে বল৷’

4 But he answering said, `It hath been written, Not upon bread alone doth man live, but upon every word coming forth from the mouth of God.'কিন্তু যীশু এর উত্তরে বললেন: ‘শাস্ত্রে একথা লেখা আছে, ‘মানুষ কেবল রুটিতে বাঁচে না, কিন্তু ঈশ্বরের মুখের প্রত্যেকটি বাক্যেই বাঁচে৷’দ্বিতীয় বিবরণ 8:3

5 Then doth the Devil take him to the `holy' city, and doth set him on the pinnacle of the temple,দিয়াবল তখন পবিত্র নগরী জেরুশালেমের মন্দিরের চূড়ায় যীশুকে নিয়ে গেল;

6 and saith to him, `If Son thou art of God -- cast thyself down, for it hath been written, that, His messengers He shall charge concerning thee, and on hands they shall bear thee up, that thou mayest not dash on a stone thy foot.' আর যীশুকে বলল, ‘তুমি যদি ঈশ্বরের পুত্র হও তবে লাফ দিয়ে নীচে পড়, কারণ শাস্ত্রে তো একথা লেখা আছে: ‘তিনি তাঁর স্বর্গদূতদের তোমার উপর দৃষ্টি রাখতে আদেশ দেবেন আর তারা তোমাকে তুলে ধরবেন, য়েন পাথরের উপর পড়ে তোমার পায়ে আঘাত না লাগে৷'" গীতসংহিতা 91 :11 -12

7 Jesus said to him again, `It hath been written, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.' যীশু তখন তাকে বললেন, ‘শাস্ত্রে একথাও লেখা আছে, ‘তোমার প্রভু ঈশ্বরকে তুমি পরীক্ষা করবে না৷’ দ্বিতীয় বিবরণ 6:16

8 Again doth the Devil take him to a very high mount, and doth shew to him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them,এরপর দিয়াবল আবার তাঁকে খুব উঁচু একটা পাহাড়ে নিয়ে গিয়ে জগতের সমস্ত রাজ্য ও তার সম্পদ দেখাল৷

9 and saith to him, `All these to thee I will give, if falling down thou mayest bow to me.'পরে দিয়াবল যীশুকে বলল, ‘তুমি যদি আমার সামনে মাথা নত করে আমার উপাসনা কর, তবে এসবই আমি তোমায় দেব৷’

10 Then saith Jesus to him, `Go -- Adversary, for it hath been written, The Lord thy God thou shalt bow to, and Him only thou shalt serve.'তখন যীশু তাকে বললেন, ‘দূর হও শয়তান! কারণ শাস্ত্রে লেখা আছে,‘তোমরা অবশ্যই প্রভু ঈশ্বরেরই উপাসনা করবে, একমাত্র তাঁরই সেবা করবে৷'" দ্বিতীয় বিবরণ 6:13

11 Then doth the Devil leave him, and lo, messengers came and were ministering to him.তখন দিয়াবল তাঁকে ছেড়েচলে গেল আর স্বর্গদূতরা এসে যীশুর সেবা করলেন৷

12 And Jesus having heard that John was delivered up, did withdraw to Galilee,যীশু যখন শুনলেন য়োহনকে গ্রেপ্তার করে নিয়ে গেছে, তখন তিনি গালীলে চলে গেলেন৷

13 and having left Nazareth, having come, he dwelt at Capernaum that is by the sea, in the borders of Zebulun and Naphtalim,তিনি নাসরতে থাকলেন না, সেখান থেকে সবূলূন ও নপ্তালির সীমানার মধ্যে গালীল হ্রদের ধারে কফরনাহূমে গিয়ে বাস করতে লাগলেন৷

14 that it might be fulfilled that was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying,এই সকল ঘটল যাতে ভাববাদী যিশাইয়র মাধ্যমে ঈশ্বর যা বলেছিলেন তা পূর্ণ হয়:

15 `Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations! --সাগরের পথে যর্দনের পশ্চিমপারে সবূলূন ও নপ্তালি দেশ, অইহুদীদের গালীল৷

16 the people that is sitting in darkness saw a great light, and to those sitting in a region and shadow of death -- light arose to them.'য়ে লোকরা অন্ধকারে বাস করে, তারা মহাজ্যোতি দেখতে পেল, আর যাঁরা মৃত্যুছায়ার দেশে থাকে, তাদের উপর আলোর উদয় হল৷’যিশাইয় 9:1-2

17 From that time began Jesus to proclaim and to say, `Reform ye, for come nigh hath the reign of the heavens.'সেই সময় থেকে যীশু এই বলে প্রচার করতে শুরু করলেন, ‘তোমরা মন ফেরাও, কারণ স্বর্গরাজ্য কাছে এসে গেছে৷’

18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon named Peter and Andrew his brother, casting a drag into the sea -- for they were fishers --যীশু যখন গালীল হ্রদের ধার দিয়ে যাচ্ছিলেন, তখন তিনি দুই ভাইকে দেখতে পেলেন, শিমোন যার অন্য নাম পিতর ও তাঁর ভাই আন্দ্রিয়৷ তাঁরা তখন ্ব্রদে জাল ফেলছিলেন৷

19 and he saith to them, `Come ye after me, and I will make you fishers of men,'যীশু তাদের বললেন, ‘আমার সঙ্গে চল, মাছ নয়, কেমন করে মানুষ ধরতে হয়, আমি তা তোমাদের শেখাব৷’

20 and they, immediately, having left the nets, did follow him.শিমোন এবং আন্দরিয় তখনই জাল ফেলে যীশুর সঙ্গে চললেন৷

21 And having advanced thence, he saw other two brothers, James of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, refitting their nets, and he called them,সেখান থেকে যীশু আরও এগিয়ে গেলে আরো দুজন লোককে দেখতে পেলেন৷ সিবদিয়ের ছেলে যাকোব ও তাঁর ভাইয়োহন৷ যীশু দেখলেন, ‘তাঁরা তাদের বাবার সঙ্গে নৌকাতে জাল সারাচ্ছেন৷ যীশু তাঁদের ডাকলেন,

22 and they, immediately, having left the boat and their father, did follow him.তাঁরা তখনইনৌকা ও তাঁদের বাবাকে ছেড়ে যীশুর সঙ্গে চললেন৷

23 And Jesus was going about all Galilee teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the good news of the reign, and healing every disease, and every malady among the people,যীশু গালীলের সব জায়গায় ঘুরে ঘুরে, ইহুদীদের সমাজ-গৃহে গিয়ে শিক্ষা দিতে লাগলেন এবং সকলের কাছে স্বর্গরাজ্যের বিষয়ে সুসমাচার প্রচার করতে লাগলেন৷ তিনি লোকদের মধ্যে নানারকম রোগ-ব্যাধি ভাল করতে থাকলেন৷

24 and his fame went forth to all Syria, and they brought to him all having ailments, pressed with manifold sicknesses and pains, and demoniacs, and lunatics, and paralytics, and he healed them.সমস্ত সুরিয়া দেশে তাঁর কথা ছড়িয়ে পড়ল, ফলে লোকরা নানা রোগে অসুস্থ রোগীদের সুস্থ করার জন্য তাঁর কাছে নিয়ে এলো, য়েমন ব্যথা-বেদনাগ্রস্ত, ভূতে পাওয়া, মৃগীরোগী ও পক্ষাঘাতগ্রস্ত, আর তিনি তাদের সকলকেই ভাল করলেন৷

25 And there followed him many multitudes from Galilee, and Decapolis, and Jerusalem, and Judea, and beyond the Jordan.গালীল, দিকাপলি, জেরুশালেম, যিহূদিয়া ও যর্দনের ওপার থেকেও বহুলোক তাঁর পিছনে পিছনে চলল৷
