Mark 9 - WEB (Bengali)

1 He said to them, "Most assuredly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death until they see the Kingdom of God come with power."তিনি তাঁর শিষ্যদের বললেন, ‘আমি তোমাদের সত্যি বলছি যাঁরা এখানে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে, তদের মধ্যে কয়েকজন আছে, যাঁরা কোনমতেই মৃত্যু দেখবে না; যতক্ষণ পর্যন্ত ঈশ্বরের রাজ্য মহাপরাক্রমের সঙ্গে আসতে না দেখে৷’

2 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them.ছদিন বাদে যীশু পিতর, যাকোব এবং য়োহনকে সঙ্গে করে এক উঁচু পাহাড়ে উঠে গেলেন৷ তাঁদের সামনে তাঁর রূপ পরিবর্তিত হয়ে গেল৷

3 His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.তাঁর পোশাক এত উজ্জ্বল ও শুভ্র হল য়ে পৃথিবীর কোন রজক সেই রকম সাদা করতে পারে না৷

4 Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and they were talking with Jesus.তখন মোশি এবং এলীয় তাঁদের সামনে এসে যীশুর সাথে কথা বলতে শুরু করলেন৷

5 Peter answered Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let's make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."তখন পিতর যীশুকে বললেন, ‘গুরুদেব, এখানে আমাদের থাকা ভাল৷ আমরা তিনটি তাঁবু তৈরী করি৷ একটা আপনার জন্য, একটা মোশির জন্য এবং একটা এলীয়র জন্য৷’

6 For he didn't know what to say, for they were very afraid.কারণ কি বলতে হবে তা তিনি জানতেন না, তাঁরা অত্যন্ত ভয় পেয়ে গিয়েছিলেন৷

7 A cloud came, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, "This is my beloved Son. Listen to him."পরে একখানা মেঘ এসে তাঁদের ছাযা দিয়ে ঢেকে ফেলল; আর সেই মেঘ থেকে এই রব শোনা গেল, ‘ইনি আমার প্রিয় পুত্র৷ তোমরা তাঁর কথা শোন৷’

8 Suddenly looking around, they saw no one with them any more, except Jesus only.শিষ্যেরা তখনই চারদিকে তাকালেন; কিন্তু যীশু ছাড়া আর কাউকে সেখানে দেখতে পেলেন না৷

9 As they were coming down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no one what things they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.পাহাড় থেকে নামার সময় তিনি তাঁর শিষ্যদের বললেন, ‘তোমরা যা যা দেখলে তা কাউকে বলো না যতক্ষণ না মৃত্যু থেকে মানবপুত্র বেঁচে উঠছেন৷’

10 They kept this saying to themselves, questioning what the "rising from the dead" meant.তারা সেই ঘটনার কথা নিজেদের মধ্যেই চেপে রাখলেন; কিন্তু ভাবতে লাগলেন, মৃত্যু থেকে বেঁচে ওঠা কথাটির অর্থ কি হতে পারে৷

11 They asked him, saying, "Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?"পরে শিষ্যরা তাঁকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, ‘কেন ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষকরা বলেন য়ে প্রথমে এলীয়কে আসতে হবে?’

12 He said to them, "Elijah indeed comes first, and restores all things. How is it written about the Son of Man, that he should suffer many things and be despised?তিনি তাদের বললেন, ‘হ্যাঁ, এলীয় প্রথমে এসে সব কিছু পুনঃস্থাপন করবেন বটে, কিন্তু মানবপুত্রের বিষয়ে কেন এসব লেখা হয়েছে য়ে তাঁকে অনেক দুঃখ পেতে হবে আর লোকে তাঁকে প্রত্যাখ্যান করবে?

13 But I tell you that Elijah has come, and they have also done to him whatever they wanted to, even as it is written about him."কিন্তু আমি তোমাদের বলছি, এলীয়ের বিষয়ে য়েমন লেখা আছে, সেই অনুসারে তিনি এসে গেছেন এবং লোকরা তাঁর প্রতি যা ইচ্ছে তাই করেছে৷’

14 Coming to the disciples, he saw a great multitude around them, and scribes questioning them.পরে তাঁরা অন্য শিষ্যদের কাছে এসে দেখলেন তাঁদের চারদিকে অনেক লোক আর ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষকরা তাদের সাথে তর্ক করছেন৷

15 Immediately all the multitude, when they saw him, were greatly amazed, and running to him greeted him.তাঁকে দেখামাত্র সমস্ত লোক অবাক হল এবং তাঁর কাছে দৌড়ে গিয়ে তাঁকে প্রণাম জানাতে লাগল৷

16 He asked the scribes, "What are you asking them?"তিনি তাঁদের জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, ‘তোমরা এদের সঙ্গে কি নিয়ে তর্ক করছ?’

17 One of the multitude answered, "Teacher, I brought to you my son, who has a mute spirit;তাতে লোকেদের মধ্যে থেকে একজন বলে উঠল, ‘হে গুরু, আমার ছেলেটিকে আপনার কাছে এনেছিলাম৷ তাকে এক বোবা আত্মায় পেয়েছে, সে কথা বলতে পারে না৷

18 and wherever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, and grinds his teeth, and wastes away. I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they weren't able."সেই আত্মা তাকে য়েখানে ধরে, সেইখানে আছাড় মারে; আর তার মুখে ফেনা ওঠে, সে দাঁত কিড়মিড় করে আর শক্ত হয়ে যায়৷ আমি আপনার শিষ্যদের এই আত্মাটাকে ছাড়াতে বললাম, কিন্তু তাঁরা পারলেন না৷’

19 He answered him, "Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me."তখন যীশু তাঁদের বললেন, ‘হে অবিশ্বাসী বংশ, আমাকে আর কতকাল তোমাদের সঙ্গে থাকতে হবে? তোমাদের নিয়ে আর আমি কত ধৈর্য্য ধরব? তাকে আমার কাছে নিয়ে এস৷’

20 They brought him to him, and when he saw him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground, wallowing and foaming at the mouth.তারা তাকে তাঁর কাছে নিয়ে এল৷ যীশুকে দেখামাত্র সেই আত্মা ছেলেটিকে মুচড়ে ধরল; আর সে মাটিতে পড়ে গড়াগড়ি দিতে লাগল, তার মুখ দিয়ে ফেনা বের হচ্ছিল৷

21 He asked his father, "How long has it been since this has come to him?" He said, "From childhood.তখন যীশু তার বাবাকে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, ‘এর কতদিন এমন হয়েছে?’ছেলেটির বাবা বলল, ‘ছেলেবেলা থেকে এরকম হয়েছে৷

22 Often it has cast him both into the fire and into the water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us."এই আত্মা একে মেরে ফেলার জন্য অনেকবার আগুনে ও জলে ফেলে দিয়েছে৷ আপনি যদি কিছু করতে পারেন, তবে দযা করে আমাদের উপকার করুন৷’

23 Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."যীশু তাকে বললেন, ‘কি বললে, ‘যদি পারেন! য়ে বিশ্বাস করে তার পক্ষে সবই সন্ভব৷’

24 Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears, "I believe. Help my unbelief!"সঙ্গে সঙ্গে ছেলেটির বাবা চিত্‌কার করে কেঁদে বলল, ‘আমি বিশ্বাস করি! আমার অবিশ্বাসের প্রতিকার করুন!’

25 When Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, "You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!"অনেক লোক সেদিকে আসছে দেখে যীশু সেই অশুচি আত্মাকে ধমকে বললেন, ‘হে বোবা কালার আত্মা, আমি তোমাকে বলছি, এর মধ্যে আর কখনও ঢুকবে না!’

26 Having cried out, and convulsed greatly, it came out of him. The boy became like one dead; so much that most of them said, "He is dead."তখন সেই আত্মা চেঁচিয়ে তাকে ভয়ঙ্করভাবে মুচড়ে দিয়ে বাইরে বেরিয়ে গেল৷ তাতে ছেলেটি মড়ার মত হয়ে পড়ল, এমন কি অধিকাংশ লোক বলল, ‘সে মরে গেছে৷’

27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and raised him up; and he arose.কিন্তু যীশু তার হাত ধরে তুললে সে উঠে দাঁড়াল৷

28 When he had come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, "Why couldn't we cast it out?"পরে যীশু বাড়ি ফিরে এলে শিষ্যরা তাঁকে একান্তে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, ‘আমরা কেন ঐ অশুচি আত্মাকে তাড়াতে পারলাম না?’

29 He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing, except by prayer and fasting."যীশু তাঁদের বললেন, ‘প্রার্থনা ছাড়া আর কোন কিছুতেই এ আত্মাকে তাড়ানো যায় না৷’

30 They went out from there, and passed through Galilee. He didn't want anyone to know it.পরে সেই স্থান ছেড়ে তাঁরা গালীলের মধ্য দিয়ে চললেন; আর তিনি চাইলেন না য়ে তাঁরা কোথায় আছে সেকথা অন্য কেউ জানুক৷

31 For he was teaching his disciples, and said to them, "The Son of Man is being handed over to the hands of men, and they will kill him; and when he is killed, on the third day he will rise again."কারণ তখন তিনি তাঁর শিষ্যদের শিক্ষা দিচ্ছিলেন৷ তিনি তাঁদের বললেন, ‘মানবপুত্রকে লোকদের হাতে তুলে দেওযা হবে, এবং তারা তাঁকে হত্যা করবে আর মৃত্যুর তিনদিন পরে তিনি বেঁচে উঠবেন৷’

32 But they didn't understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him.কিন্তু তাঁরা সেই কথা বুঝলেন না এবং এই বিষয়ে তাঁকে জিজ্ঞেস করতেও ভয় পেলেন৷

33 He came to Capernaum, and when he was in the house he asked them, "What were you arguing among yourselves on the way?"এরপর তাঁরা কফরনাহূমে ফিরে এলেন আর বাড়ির ভেতরে গিয়ে তিনি শিষ্যদের জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, ‘তোমরা রাস্তায় কি আলোচনা করছিলে?’

34 But they were silent, for they had disputed one with another on the way about who was the greatest.কিন্তু তাঁরা চুপচাপ থাকলেন কারণ তাঁদের মধ্যে কে সর্বাপেক্ষা শ্রেষ্ঠ এই নিয়ে তর্ক চলছিল৷

35 He sat down, and called the twelve; and he said to them, "If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all."তখন যীশু বসে সেই বারোজন প্রেরিতদের ডেকে বললেন, ‘কেউ যদি প্রথম হতে চায়, তবে সে সকলের শেষে থাকবে এবং সকলের পরিচারক হবে৷’

36 He took a little child, and set him in the midst of them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them,পরে যীশু একটা শিশুকে নিয়ে তাঁদের মধ্যে দাঁড় করিয়ে দিলেন এবং তাকে কোলে করে তাঁদের বললেন,

37 "Whoever receives one such little child in my name, receives me, and whoever receives me, doesn't receive me, but him who sent me."‘য়ে কেউ আমার নামে এর মতো কোন শিশুকে গ্রহণ করে, সে আমাকেই গ্রহণ করে৷ আর কেউ যদি আমাকে গ্রহণ করে, সে আমাকে নয়, কিন্তু যিনি (ঈশ্বর) আমাকে পাঠিয়েছেন তাঁকেই গ্রহণ করে৷’

38 John said to him, "Teacher, we saw someone who doesn't follow us casting out demons in your name; and we forbade him, because he doesn't follow us."য়োহন তাঁকে বললেন, ‘গুরু, আমরা একটি লোককে আপনার নামে ভুত তাড়াতে দেখে তাকে বারণ করেছিলাম, কারণ সে আমাদের লোক নয়৷’

39 But Jesus said, "Don't forbid him, for there is no one who will do a mighty work in my name, and be able quickly to speak evil of me.কিন্তু যীশু বললেন, ‘তাকে বারণ করো না, কারণ এমন কেউ নেই য়ে আমার নামে অলৌকিক কাজ করে সহজে আমার নিন্দা করতে পরে৷

40 For whoever is not against us is on our side.য়ে কেউই আমাদের বিপক্ষে নয় সে আমাদের সপক্ষে৷

41 For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you are Christ's, most assuredly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.কেউ যদি খ্রীষ্টের লোক বলে তোমাদেরকে এক ঘটি জল দেয়, আমি তোমাদের সত্যি বলছি, সে কোন মতেই নিজের পুরস্কার থেকে বঞ্চিত হবে না৷

42 Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if he was thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck.‘আর এই য়ে সাধারণ লোক যাঁরা আমায় বিশ্বাস করে, যদি কেউ তাদের একজনকে পাপের পথে নিয়ে যায়, তবে সেই লোকের গলায় একটা বড় যাতাঁর পাট বেঁধে তাকে সমুদ্রে ফেলে দেওযাই তার পক্ষে ভাল৷

43 If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna,{Gehenna is a word for Hell that originated as the name for a place where live babies were thrown crying into the fire under the arms of the idol, Moloch, to die. This place was so despised by the people after the righteous King Josiah abolished this hideous practice, that not only was it made into a garbage heap, but dead bodies of diseased animals and executed criminals were thrown there and burned.} into the unquenchable fire,তোমার হাত যদি তোমার পাপের কারণ হয়, তবে তাকে কেটে ফেল,

44 'where their worm doesn't die, and the fire is not quenched.'কারণ দুই হাত নিয়ে নরকের অনন্ত আগুনে পোড়ার থেকে বরং নুলো হয়ে জীবনে প্রবেশ করা ভাল৷

45 If your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life lame, rather than having your two feet to be cast into Gehenna, into the fire that will never be quenched--তোমার পা যদি তোমার পাপের কারণ হয় তবে তাকে কেটে ফেল,

46 'where their worm doesn't die, and the fire is not quenched.'কারণ দুই পা নিয়ে নরকে যাওযার থেকে বরং খোঁড়া হয়ে জীবনে প্রবেশ করা ভাল৷

47 If your eye causes you to stumble, cast it out. It is better for you to enter into the Kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna of fire,আর যদি তোমার চোখ তোমার পাপের কারণ হয়, তবে সে চোখকে উপড়ে ফেল৷ দুচোখ নিয়ে নরকে যাওযার থেকে এক চোখ নিয়ে ঈশ্বরের রাজ্যে প্রবেশ করা তোমার পক্ষে ভাল৷

48 'where their worm doesn't die, and the fire is not quenched.'নরকে য়ে কীট মানুষকে খায় তারা কখনও মরে না এবং আগুন কখনও নেভে না৷

49 For everyone will be salted with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.লবণ দেওযার মত প্রত্যেকের ওপর আগুন দেওযা হবে৷

50 Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, with what will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another."‘লবণ ভাল, কিন্তু লবণ যদি লবণত্ব হারায়, তবে কেমন করে তাকে তোমরা আস্বাদযুক্ত করবে? তোমরা নিজের নিজের মনে লবণ রাখ এবং পরস্পর শান্তিতে থাক৷’
