তখন থেকে প্রত্যেক দিন তিনি মন্দিরে শিক্ষা দিতে থাকলেন৷ প্রধান যাজকরা, ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষকরা ও ইহুদী নেতারা তাঁকে হত্যা করার উপায় খুঁজতে লাগল৷
