Luke 11
45 একজন ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষক এর উত্তরে যীশুকে বললেন, ‘গুরু, আপনি এসব যা বললেন, তার দ্বারা আমাদেরও অপমান করলেন৷’
46 তখন যীশু তাকে বললেন, ‘হে ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষকরা, ধিক্ তোমাদের, তোমরা লোকদের ওপর এমন ভারী বোঝা চাপিয়ে দাও যা তাদের পক্ষে গ্রহণ করা অসন্ভব; আর তোমরা নিজেরা সেই ভার বইবার জন্য সাহায্য করতে তাতে একটা আঙ্গুল পর্যন্ত ছোঁযাও না৷
47 ধিক্ তোমাদের, কারণ তোমরা ভাববাদীদের সমাধিগুহা গেঁথে থাকো; আর এই সব ভাববাদীদের তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষেরাই হত্যা করেছিল৷
48 তাই এই কাজ করে তোমরা এই সাক্ষ্যই দিচ্ছ য়ে তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষেরা য়ে কাজ করেছিল তা তোমরা ঠিক বলে মেনে নিচ্ছ৷ কারণ তারা ওদের হত্যা করেছিল আর তোমরা ওদের সমাধিগুহা রচনা করছ৷
49 এই কারণেই ঈশ্বরের প্রজ্ঞা বলছে, ‘আমি তাদের কাছে য়ে ভাববাদী ও প্রেরিতদের পাঠাবো, তাদের মধ্যে কাউকে কাউকে তারা হত্যা করবে, কাউকে বা নির্য়াতন করবে৷’
50 সেই জন্যই জগত্ সৃষ্টির শুরু থেকে আজ পর্যন্ত যত ভাববাদী হত্যা করা হয়েছে, তাদের সকলের হত্যার জন্য এই কালের লোকদের শাস্তি পেতে হবে৷
51 হ্যাঁ, আমি তোমাদের বলছি, হেবলের রক্তপাত থেকে আরন্ভ করে য়ে সখরিয়কে যজ্ঞবেদী ও মন্দিরের মধ্যবর্তী স্থানে হত্যা করা হয়েছিল, সেই সখরিয়ের হত্যা পর্যন্ত সমস্ত রক্তপাতের দায়ে দাযী হবে একালের লোকেরা৷
52 ‘ধিক্ ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষকরা কারণ তোমরা জ্ঞানের চাবিটি ধরে আছ৷ তোমরা নিজেরাও প্রবেশ করনি আর যাঁরা প্রবেশ করার চেষ্টা করছে তাদেরও বাধা দিচ্ছ৷’
53 তিনি যখন সেই জায়গা ছেড়ে চলে গেলেন, তখন ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষকরা ও ফরীশীরা তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে ভীষণভাবে শত্রুতা করতে আরন্ভ করল এবং পরে তাঁকে নানাভাবে প্রশ্ন করতে থাকল৷
45 Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also.
46 And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.
47 Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
48 Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres.
49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:
50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.
52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.
53 And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:

48 তাই এই কাজ করে তোমরা এই সাক্ষ্যই দিচ্ছ য়ে তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষেরা য়ে কাজ করেছিল তা তোমরা ঠিক বলে মেনে নিচ্ছ৷ কারণ তারা ওদের হত্যা করেছিল আর তোমরা ওদের সমাধিগুহা রচনা করছ৷
Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres.
49 এই কারণেই ঈশ্বরের প্রজ্ঞা বলছে, ‘আমি তাদের কাছে য়ে ভাববাদী ও প্রেরিতদের পাঠাবো, তাদের মধ্যে কাউকে কাউকে তারা হত্যা করবে, কাউকে বা নির্য়াতন করবে৷’
Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:
50 সেই জন্যই জগত্ সৃষ্টির শুরু থেকে আজ পর্যন্ত যত ভাববাদী হত্যা করা হয়েছে, তাদের সকলের হত্যার জন্য এই কালের লোকদের শাস্তি পেতে হবে৷
That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.
53 তিনি যখন সেই জায়গা ছেড়ে চলে গেলেন, তখন ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষকরা ও ফরীশীরা তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে ভীষণভাবে শত্রুতা করতে আরন্ভ করল এবং পরে তাঁকে নানাভাবে প্রশ্ন করতে থাকল৷
And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:
