Leviticus 4:2
“ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের বলো: যদি কোন মানুষ অজান্তে পাপ করে ফেলে এবং প্রভু ইস্রায়েলে করতে বারণ করেছেন তেমন কোন কাজ করে, তখন মানুষটি অবশ্যই এই কাজগুলি করবে:

“য়ে ব্যক্তি কোন ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করে ঐ তিনটি শহরের য়ে কোন একটিতে নিরাপত্তার জন্য ছুটে যায়, তার জন্য এটি হল নিয়ম: সে অবশ্যই এমন একজন ব্যক্তি হবে য়ে অপর ব্যক্তিকে দুর্ঘটনাবশতঃ হত্যা করেছে এবং হত ব্যক্তিকে ঘৃণা করত না|
Leviticus 5:15
“কোন মানুষ আকস্মিকভাবে প্রভুর পবিত্র জিনিস অপবিত্র করতে পারে| সেক্ষেত্রে সেই লোকটি তখন কোন খুঁত নেই এমন একটি পুরুষ মেষ অবশ্যই আনবে| এটাই হবে প্রভুর প্রতি দোষের জন্য দেওয়া নৈবেদ্য| তুমি অবশ্যই পবিত্র স্থানের মাপ কাঠি ব্যবহার করবে এবং পুরুষ মেষটির একটি মূল্য ঠিক করবে|
Leviticus 4:22
“একজন শাসক অজান্তে পাপ করতে পারে এবং তার প্রভু ঈশ্বর ইস্রায়েলে ইস্রায়েলে করতে অবশ্যই নিষেধ করেছিলেন, তার মধ্যে কোন একটা সে করে ফেলতে পারে| এই ভুল করার জন্য শাসক দোষী হবে|
Leviticus 4:13
“এমনও হতে পারে যে সমগ্র ইস্রাযেল জাতি না জেনে পাপ করেছে| তারা হয়তো এমন অনেক কাজ করে বসেছে যেগুলি প্রভু তাদের না করতেই আজ্ঞা দিয়েছেন| যদি তাই ঘটে তারা দোষী হবে|
Genesis 20:9
তখন অবীমেলক অব্রাহামকে ডেকে পাঠিয়ে জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, “কেন আপনি আমাদের প্রতি এরকম ব্যবহার করলেন? আমি আপনার প্রতি কি অন্যায় করেছি? কেন মিথ্যে বললেন য়ে ঐ নারীটি আপনার বোন? আমার রাজত্বে আপনি অনেক বিপর্য়য ডেকে এনেছেন| আমার প্রতি এসব করা আপনার উচিত্ হয় নি|
