কেন? কারণ তাদের দশা হবে পুরানো কাপড়ের মতো| তাদের পোকামাকড় খেয়ে নেবে| তাদের পশমের মতো দশা হবে, কৃমি তাদের খেয়ে নেবে| কিন্তু আমার ধার্মিকতা চির কালের জন্য থেকে যাবে| চির কাল থাকবে পরিত্রাণ, চিরকাল করে যাব পরিত্রাণ|”

For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

the moth עָ֔שׁ ʿoš ohsh
them like wool: וְכַצֶּ֖מֶר ṣemer tseh-MER
shall eat יֹאכְלֵ֣ם ʾākal ah-HAHL
and the worm סָ֑ס sās sahs
but my righteousness וְצִדְקָתִי֙ ṣĕdāqâ tseh-da-KA
for ever, לְעוֹלָ֣ם ʿôlām oh-LAHM
shall be תִּֽהְיֶ֔ה hāyâ ha-YA
and my salvation וִישׁוּעָתִ֖י yĕšûʿâ yeh-shoo-AH
from generation לְד֥וֹר dôr dore
to generation. דּוֹרִֽים׃ dôr dore
