প্রভু হারোণকে বললেন, “পবিত্র স্থানের বিরুদ্ধে যে কোনোরকম ভুল কাজের জন্য তুমি, তোমার পুত্ররা এবং তোমার পিতার পরিবারের সকল ব্যক্তি দায়ী থাকবে| যাজকগণের বিরুদ্ধে যে কোনোরকম ভুল কাজের জন্যে তুমি এবং তোমার পুত্ররা দায়ী থাকবে|

তার আত্মা বহু কষ্ট পেলেও সে অনেক ভালো জিনিস ঘটা দেখতে পাবে| সে যেসব জিনিস শিখেছে তা নিয়ে সন্তুষ্ট হবে| আমার ভালো দাসটি অনেক মানুষকে ধার্মিক করবে| সে তাদের অপরাধের দরুণ শাস্তি ভোগ করবে|

আমরা সবাই হারিযে যাওয়া মেষের মত ঘুরে বেড়িযেছিলাম| আমরা সবাই আমাদের নিজেদের পথে গিয়েছিলাম যখন প্রভু আমাদের সব শাস্তি তাকে দিয়ে ভোগ করাচ্ছিলেন|

কিন্তু এখন থেকে সমাগম তাঁবুর কাছে ইস্রায়েলের অন্যান্য লোকরা অবশ্যই যাবে না| যদি তারা সো করে, তবে তাদের অবশ্যম্প মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেওয়া হবে|

তোমরা 40 বছর ধরে তোমাদের পাপের জন্য শাস্তি ভোগ করবে| (অর্থাত্‌ 40 দিন ধরে লোকরা যে জায়গাটি অনুসন্ধান করেছিলো তার প্রতিদিনের জন্য এক বছর করে|) তখন তোমরা বুঝতে পারবে আমি তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে গেলে কি হতে পারে|

“আমাকে সেবা করার জন্য যাজকদের একা বিশেষ সময় থাকবে| তারা অবশ্যই সেইসব সময় বিষয়ে সতর্ক থাকবে| তারা পবিত্র জিনিসগুলিকে অপবিত্র না করার বিষয়ে অবশ্যই সাবধান হবে| যদি তারা সাবধান হয় তাহলে তারা মারা ইস্রায়েলেবে না| আমি ঈশ্বর এই বিশেষ কাজের জন্য তাদের পৃথক করেছি|
