“আমি যাসের এবং সিব্মার লোকদের সঙ্গে কাঁদব কারণ দ্রাক্ষা ক্ষেতগুলি ধ্বংস করা হয়েছে| আমি হিশ্বোন এবং ইলিয়ালীর লোকদের সঙ্গে কাঁদব কারণ কোন শস্য সংগ্রহ হবে না| কোন গ্রীষ্মকালীন ফসল উঠবে না| তাই কোন আনন্দ উল্লাস হবে না|

একদিন শিখিমের লোকরা ক্ষেত থেকে দ্রাক্ষা তুলতে গেল| দ্রাক্ষা নিংড়ে তারা দ্রাক্ষারস তৈরি করল| তারপর তারা তাদের দেবতার মন্দিরে একটা অনুষ্ঠানের আযোজন করল| সেখানে তারা দ্রাক্ষারস পান করে অবীমেলককে খুব গালমন্দ করতে লাগল|
Isaiah 9:3
হে ঈশ্বর, আপনিই জাতিটিকে বড় হতে দেবেন| আপনিই সেখানকার লোকদের সুখী করবেন| তারা আপনার উপস্থিতিতে যুদ্ধ জয়ের শেষে লুটের মাল ভাগের সময়কার আনন্দের মতো, ফসল তোলার সময়ের আনন্দের মতো সুখ ভোগ করবে|
