এই সমস্ত ব্যক্তিরা সাতদিন ধরে মহানন্দে খামিরবিহীন রুটির উত্সব পালন করলেন| ঈশ্বর তাদের সকলকে আনন্দিত করে তুললেন কারণ তিনি অশূররাজের মনোবৃত্তিতে পরিবর্তন এনেছিলেন এবং তার ফলে অশূর-রাজতাঁদের ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বরের মন্দির নির্মাণের কাজে সমর্থন জানিয়েছিলেন|

ইস্রায়েলের যে সমস্ত লোকরা ঘটনাস্থলে উপস্থিত ছিলেন তারা সকলে সাতদিন ধরে নিস্তারপর্ব ও খামিরবিহীন রুটির উত্সব পালন করলো|

এই ছুটিতে তোমরা সাতদিন ধরে খামিরবিহীন রুটি খাবে, ছুটির প্রথম দিনে তোমরা তোমাদের বাড়ী থেকে সমস্ত খামির সরিয়ে ফেলবে| এই ছুটিতে পুরো সাত দিন ধরে কেউ কোন খামির খাবে না| যদি কেউ সেটা খায় তবে সেই ব্যক্তিকে ইস্রায়েলীয়দের থেকে আলাদা করে দেওয়া হবে|
