প্রাসাদের ভেতরের বাগানে সাদা ও নীল রঙের দামী লিনেন কাপড়ের চাঁদোযা টাঙ্গানো ছিল| শ্বেতপাথরের স্তম্ভে রূপোর আংটায লিনেনের সাদা ও বেগুনী কাপড়ের দড়ি দিয়ে সেগুলি ঝোলানো হয়| বহুমূল্য পাথর, য়েমন মুক্তো, শ্বেতপাথর এবং অন্যান্য পাথর, খচিত মেঝেতে বসানো ছিল সোনা ও রূপোর তৈরী কেদারা|

Esther 7:8
রাজা যখন বাগান থেকে আবার সভাগৃহে ঢুকছেন, ঠিক তখনই তিনি দেখতে পেলেন, রাণী ইষ্টের কেদারায বিশ্রাম নিচ্ছেন এবং হামন রাণীর সামনে আছড়ে পড়লেন| রাজা তখন চিত্কার করে তাকে বললেন, “আমি এখনো রাণীর বাড়িতে আছি, আর আমার উপস্থিতিতেই তুমি রাণীকে আক্রমণ করছো?”একথা বলার প্রায সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই রাজভৃত্যরা এসে হামনকে হত্যা করল|

Esther 8:15
মর্দখয় রাজার কাছ থেকে চলে গেলেন| তিনি রাজার উপহার দেওয়া নীল ও সাদা রঙের একটি বিশেষ পোশাক ও সোনার বড় একটি মুকুট এবং বেগুনী লিনেন কাপড়ের আলখাল্লাও পরেছিলেন|

Exodus 26:1
প্রভু মোশিকে বললেন, “পবিত্র তাঁবুটি তৈরী করবে 10 টি পর্দা দিয়ে| পর্দাগুলি তৈরী হবে মসৃণ শনের কাপড়ে এবং নীল, বেগুনী ও লাল সুতোয| একজন দক্ষ কারিগর পর্দাটি বুনবে এবং তাতে সে করূব দূতের চিত্র সেলাই করবে|

Exodus 26:31
“পবিত্র তাঁবুর ভেতর বিভাজনের জন্য মসৃণ শনের কাপড়ের পর্দা বানাবে| ঐ পর্দার ওপর অবশ্যই করূব দূতের চেহারা থাকতে হবে| লাল, নীল, বেগুনী সূতোর কারুকার্য়ে তা ফুটে উঠবে|

Exodus 26:36
“এবারে একটি পর্দা দিয়ে পবিত্র তাঁবুর প্রবেশ পথ ঢেকে দেবে| পর্দাটি বানাবে লাল, নীল, বেগুনী সুতো ও মসৃণ শনের কাপড় দিয়ে| এবং তাতে চিত্র ফুটিযে তুলবে|

Amos 2:8
তারা গরীব লোকদের কাছ থেকে জামাকাপড় নিচ্ছে এবং তারা বেদীতে পূজা করার সময় ওই কাপড়-চোপড়ের ওপরেই বসছে| তারা গরীব লোকদের টাকা ধার দিয়েছে| এবং সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তাদের কাপড়-চোপড়গুলো বন্ধক হিসাবে নিয়ে নিয়েছে| তারা সাধারণ লোকদের জরিমানা দিতে বাধ্য করেছিল| এবং সেই টাকা দিয়ে তাদের দেবতাদের মন্দিরে বসে নিজেরা পান করার জন্য দ্রাক্ষারস কিনেছিল|
