মোশির বিধি অনুযাযী, তাঁরা মন্দিরে তাঁদের নির্ধারিত জায়গাগুলি গ্রহণ করলেন| লেবীয়রা যাজকদের হাতে রক্তের পাত্র তুলে দেবার পর যাজকরা সেই রক্ত বেদীতে ছিটিয়ে দিলেন|

“প্রভুর সামনেই সে সেই এঁড়ে বাছুরটিকে হনন করবে| তারপর হারোণের পুত্ররা অর্থাত্ যাজকরা সমাগম তাঁবুতে ঢোকার মুখে অবস্থিত বেদীর কাছে অবশ্যই সেই রক্ত আনবে এবং বেদীর ওপরে এবং চারপাশে তা ছিটিয়ে দেবে|

রাজা যেমন আদেশ করেছিলেন সেই অনুযায়ীসমস্ত রকম প্রস্তুতি শেষ হলে যাজকরা তাদের জন্য নির্দিষ্ট জায়গায় দাঁড়ালেন এবং লেবীয়রা তাদের নিজের নিজের দলগুলির সঙ্গে দাঁড়ালেন|
Hebrews 11:28
মোশি নিস্তারপর্ব পালন করে গৃহের দরজায় রক্ত লেপে দিলেন৷ দরজায় এইভাবে রক্ত লেপন করা হল য়েন সংহারকর্তা ইস্রায়েলীয়দের প্রথম পুত্র সন্তানদের স্পর্শ করতে না পারে৷ মোশির বিশ্বাস ছিল তাই তিনি এসব করতে পেরেছিলেন৷
