একারণেই আমি শলোমনের পরিবারের হাত থেকে রাজ্য কেড়ে নেব| কিন্তু আমার একনিষ্ঠ ভক্ত শলোমনের পিতা দায়ূদের কথা মনে রেখে শলোমনকে তার বাকী জীবনটুকু শাসক থাকতে দেব|

Job 11:6
ঈশ্বর তোমাকে প্রজ্ঞার গূঢ় তত্ত্ব বলতে পারতেন| প্রকৃত প্রজ্ঞার দুটি দিক থাকে| অনুভব করো ঈশ্বর তোমার কিছু পাপ ভুলে গেছেন| তোমাকে তাঁর যতটা শাস্তি দেওয়া উচিত্‌ ছিল ততটা তিনি অবশ্যই তোমাকে দিচ্ছেন না|

Psalm 103:10
আমরা ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করেছিলাম কিন্তু প্রাপ্য শাস্তি তিনি আমাদের দেন নি|

“আমার কাছে এসে শোন আমি কি বলছি, তাহলে তোমাদের আত্মা বাঁচবে| আমি তোমাদের সঙ্গে চির কালের মত একটা চুক্তি করব| দাযূদের মত তোমাদের সঙ্গেও আমি চুক্তি করব| দাযূদের কাছে আমি প্রতিশ্রুতি করেছি চির কাল আমি ওকে ভালবাসব| চির কাল আমি তার প্রতি বিশ্বস্ত থাকব| তোমরা এই চুক্তির ওপর আস্থাশীল থাকতে পারো|

Habakkuk 3:2
প্রভু, আমি আপনার সম্বন্ধে শুনেছি| প্রভু, অতীতে আপনি য়ে শক্তিশালী কাজগুলো করেছেন তার সম্বন্ধে আমি অভিভূত হয়ে গেছি| এখন আমার প্রার্থনা এই য়ে, আপনি আমাদের এই সময়ও মহত্‌ কাজ করুন| অনুগ্রহ করে আমাদের এই বর্তমান কালেও আপনি ঐ কাজগুলো করুন| কিন্তু আপনার কাজের উত্তেজনার মধ্যে আমাদের কৃপা করবার কথাও মনে রাখবেন|
