Deuteronomy 4
41 এরপর মোশি যর্দন নদীর পূর্বদিকের তিনটি শহর বেছে নিলেন|
42 যদি কোনো ব্যক্তি দুর্ঘটনাক্রমে অপর কোনো এক ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করে, তাহলে সে ঐ তিনটি শহরের য়ে কোনো একটিতে পালিয়ে য়েতে পারে এবং তাকে মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেওয়া হবে না| কিন্তু সে নিরাপদ হবে যদি সে অপর ব্যক্তিটিকে ঘৃণা না করে থাকে এবং যদি তার তাকে হত্যা করার অভিপ্রায় না থেকে থাকে|
43 মোশি য়ে তিনটি শহর বেছেছিলেন সেগুলো ছিল: রূবেণের পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর জন্য উচ্চসমভূমিতে অবস্থিত বেত্ সর, গাদের পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর জন্য গিলিয়দে অবস্থিত রামোত্, মনঃশির পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর জন্য বাশনে অবস্থিত গোলন|
41 Then Moses severed three cities on this side Jordan toward the sunrising;
42 That the slayer might flee thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live:
43 Namely, Bezer in the wilderness, in the plain country, of the Reubenites; and Ramoth in Gilead, of the Gadites; and Golan in Bashan, of the Manassites.

Then Moses severed three cities on this side Jordan toward the sunrising;
42 যদি কোনো ব্যক্তি দুর্ঘটনাক্রমে অপর কোনো এক ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করে, তাহলে সে ঐ তিনটি শহরের য়ে কোনো একটিতে পালিয়ে য়েতে পারে এবং তাকে মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেওয়া হবে না| কিন্তু সে নিরাপদ হবে যদি সে অপর ব্যক্তিটিকে ঘৃণা না করে থাকে এবং যদি তার তাকে হত্যা করার অভিপ্রায় না থেকে থাকে|
