Daniel 8:7
যখন পুং ছাগলটি মেষের কাছে পৌঁছল, সে খুব রেগে ছিল| ছাগলটি মেষের শিং দুটি ভেঙে ফেলল| তাকে মেষটি আটকাতে পারল না| তারপর পুং ছাগলটি মেষটিকে গুঁতো মেরে মাটিতে ফেলে দিল এবং তাকে পদদলিত করল| ছাগলের হাত থেকে মেষকে বাঁচাবার মত কেউই ছিল না|

| against | אֵלָיו֙ | ʾēlāyw | ay-lav |
| smote and him, | וַיַּ֣ךְ | wayyak | va-YAHK |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the ram, | הָאַ֔יִל | hāʾayil | ha-AH-yeel |
| and brake | וַיְשַׁבֵּר֙ | wayšabbēr | vai-sha-BARE |

| two his | שְׁתֵּ֣י | šĕttê | sheh-TAY |
| horns: | קְרָנָ֔יו | qĕrānāyw | keh-ra-NAV |
| and there was | וְלֹא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| no | הָ֥יָה | hāyâ | HA-ya |
| power | כֹ֛חַ | kōaḥ | HOH-ak |
| in the ram | בָּאַ֖יִל | bāʾayil | ba-AH-yeel |
| to stand | לַעֲמֹ֣ד | laʿămōd | la-uh-MODE |
| before | לְפָנָ֑יו | lĕpānāyw | leh-fa-NAV |
| down him cast he but him, | וַיַּשְׁלִיכֵ֤הוּ | wayyašlîkēhû | va-yahsh-lee-HAY-hoo |
| to the ground, | אַ֙רְצָה֙ | ʾarṣāh | AR-TSA |
| upon stamped and | וַֽיִּרְמְסֵ֔הוּ | wayyirmĕsēhû | va-yeer-meh-SAY-hoo |
