ফিলেমন 1:8-22

8 Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient,

9 Yet for love’s sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

10 I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:

11 Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:

12 Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:

13 Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:

14 But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

15 For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;

16 Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?

17 If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.

18 If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account;

19 I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.

20 Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.

21 Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.

22 But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

8 তাই আমি খ্রীষ্টের নামে সাহসী হয়ে যা সঠিক তা করার জন্য তোমাকে আদেশ করতে পারি৷
Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient,

9 কিন্তু আমি তোমাকে বরং তোমার ভালবাসার জন্য এটা করতে অনুরোধ করবো৷ আমি পৌল, এখন বৃদ্ধ হয়েছি, খ্রীষ্ট যীশুর জন্য আমি বন্দী৷

10 কারাগারে থাকাকালীন য়ে ওনীসিমাসকে পুত্ররূপে পেয়েছি তার হয়ে তোমাকে আমার অনুরোধ জানাই৷
I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:

11 সে আগে তোমার উপয়োগী ছিল না কিন্তু এখন তোমার ও আমার উভয়েরই উপয়োগী৷
Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:

12 তাকেই আমি তোমার কাছে ফেরত্ পাঠাচ্ছি, তার সঙ্গে য়েন আমার নিজের প্রাণই পাঠাচ্ছি৷
Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:

13 আমি তাকে আমার কাছে রাখতে চেয়েছিলাম যাতে সুসমাচারের জন্য আমি কারাগারে থাকাকালীন সে তোমার হয়ে আমার সেবা করতে পারে৷
Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:

14 তোমার অনুমতি না নিয়ে আমি কিছু করতে চাই নি৷ আমি চাই তুমি য়েন বাধ্য হয়ে নয় বরং নিজের ইচ্ছানুসারেই আমার এই উপকারটুকু করতে পার৷
But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

15 কারণ হয়তো এই জন্যই ওনীসিমাস কিছু কালের জন্য আলাদা হয়েছিল, য়েন তুমি চিরকালের জন্য তাকে পেতে পার৷
For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;

16 এখন তাকে আর কেবলমাত্র তোমার দাসরূপে নয়, দাসের থেকে শ্রেয়, স্নেহের ভাইয়ের মতো ফিরে পেতে পারো৷ সে আমার প্রিয়, কিন্তু তোমার কাছে প্রভুর ভাই ও মানুষ হিসাবে সে আরো প্রিয় হবে৷
Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?

17 যদি আমাকে তোমার বন্ধু বলে মানো তবে ওনীসিমাস আবার গ্রহণ করো৷ তোমরা আমাকে য়েভাবে অভ্য়র্থনা জানাও ওনীসিমাসকে সেইভাবে অভ্য়র্থনা জানিও৷
If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.

18 ওনীসিমাস যদি তোমার কোন ক্ষতি করে থাকে, বা তোমার কিছু ধারে তবে তা আমার দেনা হিসাবে ধরো৷
If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account;

19 আমি পৌল, নিজের হাতে এটা লিখলাম, আমিই শোধ করব৷ তুমি তোমার নিজের জীবনের জন্য য়ে আমার কাছে ঋণী, সে বিষয়ে আমি কিছুই বলব না৷
I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.

20 হ্যাঁ ভাই, তোমার কাছে থেকে আমি প্রভুর প্রতিনিধি হিসাবে কিছু পেতে চাই৷ আমার হৃদয়কে খ্রীষ্টে উত্‌সাহিত কর৷
Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.

21 তুমি আমার অনুরোধ মানবে এই বিশ্বাসে আমি তোমাকে এই চিঠি লিখছি৷ তাছাড়া আমি জানি য়ে আমি যা বলছি তুমি তার থেকেও বেশী করবে৷
Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.

22 আবার বলি আমার থাকার জন্য ঘরও ঠিক করে রেখো; কারণ আশা করছি, ঈশ্বর তোমাদের প্রার্থনার উত্তর দেবেন এবং শিগ্গির আমি তোমাদের কাছে য়েতে পারব৷
