পৌল অইহুদীদের কাছে যাওয়ার কথা বললে লোকেরা তা আর শুনতে চাইল না৷ ইহুদীরা সকলে জোরে চিত্কার করে উঠল, ‘মার বেটাকে! একে পৃথিবী থেকে সরিয়ে দাও! এ বেঁচে থাকার অয়োগ্য!’
Acts 23:12
পরের দিন সকালে ইহুদীরা জোট বেঁধে দিব্যি করে বলল, ‘পৌলকে হত্যা না করা পর্যন্ত তারা অন্ন জল মুখে তুলবে না৷
