Acts 22:6-29 in Tamil

6 And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me.

7 And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

8 And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.

9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.

10 And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.

11 And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.

12 And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,

13 Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him.

14 And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.

15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.

16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

17 And it came to pass, that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a trance;

18 And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.

19 And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee:

20 And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him.

21 And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.

22 And they gave him audience unto this word, and then lifted up their voices, and said, Away with such a fellow from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live.

23 And as they cried out, and cast off their clothes, and threw dust into the air,

24 The chief captain commanded him to be brought into the castle, and bade that he should be examined by scourging; that he might know wherefore they cried so against him.

25 And as they bound him with thongs, Paul said unto the centurion that stood by, Is it lawful for you to scourge a man that is a Roman, and uncondemned?

26 When the centurion heard that, he went and told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what thou doest: for this man is a Roman.

27 Then the chief captain came, and said unto him, Tell me, art thou a Roman? He said, Yea.

28 And the chief captain answered, With a great sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free born.

29 Then straightway they departed from him which should have examined him: and the chief captain also was afraid, after he knew that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him.

1 அவர்கள் ஜனங்களுடனே பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கையில், ஆசாரியர்களும் தேவாலயத்துச் சேனைத்தலைவனும் சதுசேயரும் அவர்களிடத்தில் வந்து,
And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,

2 அவர்கள் ஜனங்களுக்கு உபதேசிக்கிறதினாலும், இயேசுவை முன்னிட்டு, மரித்தோலிருந்து உயிர்த்தெழுதலைப் பிரசங்கிக்கிறதினாலும், சினங்கொண்டு,
Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

3 அவர்களைப் பிடித்து, சாயங்காலமாயிருந்தபடியினால், மறுநாள்வரைக்கும் காவலில் வைத்தார்கள்.
And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.

4 வசனத்தைக் கேட்டவர்களில் அநேகர் விசுவாசித்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் தொகை ஏறக்குறைய ஐயாயிரமாயிருந்தது.
Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.

5 மறுநாளிலே ஜனங்களுடைய அதிகாΰிகளும் மூப்பரும் வேதபாரகரும்,
And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,

6 பிரதான ஆசாரியனாகிய அன்னாவும், காய்பாவும், யோவானும், அலெக்சந்தரும்,
And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

7 பிரதான ஆசாரியனுடைய குடும்பத்தார் யாவரும் எருசலேமிலே கூட்டங்கூடி, அவர்களை நடுவே நிறுத்தி, நீங்கள் எந்த வல்லமையினாலே இதைச் செய்தீர்கள் என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

8 அப்பொழுது பேதுரு பரிசுத்த ஆவியிலே நிறைந்து, அவர்களை நோக்கி: ஜனத்தின் அதிகாரிகளே, இஸ்ரவேலின் மூப்பர்களே,
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

9 பிணியாளியாயிருந்த இந்த மனுஷனுக்குச் செய்யப்பட்ட உபகாரத்தைக்குறித்து எதினாலே இவன் ஆரோக்கியமானானென்று நீங்கள் இன்று எங்களிடத்தில் விசாரித்துக்கேட்டால்,
If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

10 உங்களால் சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்டவரும், தேவனால் மரித்தோரிலிருந்து எழுப்பப்பட்டவருமாயிருக்கிற நசரேனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தினாலேயே இவன் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாகச் சொஸ்தமாய் நிற்கிறானானென்று உங்களுக்கும், இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களெல்லாருக்கும் தெரிந்திருக்கக்கடவது.
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

11 வீடு கட்டுகிறவர்களாகிய உங்களால் அற்பமாய் எண்ணப்பட்ட அவரே மூலைக்குத் தலைக்கல்லானவர்.
This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

12 அவராலேயன்றி வேறொருவராலும் இரட்சிப்பு இல்லை; நாம் இரட்சிக்கப்படும்படிக்கு வானத்தின் கீழெங்கும், மனுஷர்களுக்குள்ளே அவருடைய நாமமேயல்லாமல் வேறொரு நாமம் கட்டளையிடப்படவும் இல்லை என்றான்.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

13 பேதுருவும் யோவானும் பேசுகிற தைரியத்தை அவர்கள் கண்டு, அவர்கள் படிப்பறியாதவர்களென்றும் பேதமையுள்ளவர்களென்றும் அறிந்தபடியினால் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு, அவர்கள் இயேசுவுடனேகூட இருந்தவர்களென்றும் அறிந்துகொண்டார்கள்.
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

14 சொஸ்தமாக்கப்ட்ட மனுஷன் அவர்கள் அருகே நிற்கிறதைக் கண்டபடியால், எதிர்பேச அவர்களுக்கு இடமில்லாதிருந்தது.
And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

15 அப்பொழுது அவர்களை ஆலோசனை சங்கத்தை விட்டுப் போகும்படி கட்டளையிட்டு, தங்களுக்குள்ளே யோசனைபண்ணிக்கொண்டு:
But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,

16 இந்த மனுஷரை நாம் என்ன செய்யலாம்? எருசலேமில் எல்லாருக்கும் தெரிந்திருக்கிற வெளியரங்கமான அற்புதம் இவர்களால் செய்யப்பட்டதே, அதை நாம் இல்லையென்று சொல்லக்கூடாது.
Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.

17 ஆகிலும் இது அதிகமாய் ஜனத்துக்குள்ளே பரம்பாதபடிக்கு, ஒருவரோடும் இந்த நாமத்தைக்குறித்துப் பேசக்கூடாதென்று அவர்களை உறுதியாய்ப் பயமுறுத்த வேண்டுமென்று சொல்லிக்கொண்டு,
But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

18 அவர்களை அழைத்து: இயேசுவின் நாமத்தைக்குறித்து எவ்வளவும் பேசவும் போதிக்கவும் கூடாதென்று அவர்களுக்கு கட்டளையிட்டார்கள்.
And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

19 பேதுருவும் யோவானும் அவர்களுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: தேவனுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறதைப்பார்க்கிலும் உங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறது தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக நியாயமாயிருக்குமோ நீங்களே நிதானித்துப்பாருங்கள்.
But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

20 நாங்கள் கண்டவைகளையும் கேட்டவைகளையும் பேசாமலிருக்கக்கூடாதே என்றார்கள்.
For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

21 நடந்த சங்கதிகளைக்குறித்து எல்லாரும் தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தினபடியால், ஜனங்களுக்குப் பயந்து அவர்களை தண்டிக்க வகையொன்றுங்காணாமல், அவர்களைப் பயமுறுத்தி விட்டுவிட்டார்கள்.
So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.

22 அற்புதமாய்ச் சொஸ்தமாக்கப்பட்ட மனுஷன் நாற்பது வயதுக்கு மேற்பட்டவனாயிருந்தான்.
For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed.

23 அவர்கள் விடுதலையாக்கப்பட்டபின்பு, தங்களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களிடத்தில் வந்து, பிரதான ஆசாரியர்களும் மூப்பர்களும் தங்களுக்குச் சொன்ன யாவையும் அறிவித்தார்கள்.
And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.

24 அவர்கள் அதைக் கேட்டு, ஒருமனப்பட்டு தேவனை நோக்கிச் சத்தமிட்டு: கர்த்தாவே, நீர் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் சமுத்திரத்தையும் அவைகளிலுள்ள யாவற்றையும் உண்டாக்கின தேவனாயிருக்கிறீர்.
And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

25 புறஜாதிகள் கொந்தளித்து, ஜனங்கள் விருதா காரியங்களைச் சிந்திப்பானேன் என்றும்,
Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?

26 கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாகவும், தேவனுடைய கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு விரோதமாகவும் பூமியின் ராஜாக்கள் எழும்பி நின்று, அதிகாரிகள் ஏகமாய்க் கூட்டங்கூடினார்கள் என்றும் தேவரீர் உம்முடைய தாசனாகிய தாவீதின் வாக்கினால் உரைத்தீரே.
The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

27 அந்தப்படி உம்முடைய கரமும் உம்முடைய ஆலோசனையும் முன் குறித்தவைகள் யாவையும் செய்யும்படி,
For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

28 ஏரோதும் பொந்தியுபிலாத்தும், புறஜாதிகளோடும் இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களோடுங்கூட, நீர் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணின உம்முடைய பரிசுத்த பிள்ளையாகிய இயேசுவுக்கு விரோதமாய், மெய்யாகவே கூட்டங்கூடினார்கள்.
For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

29 இப்பொழுதும், கர்த்தாவே அவர்கள் பயமுறுத்தல்களை தேவரீர் கவனித்து,
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

30 உம்முடைய பரிசுத்த பிள்ளையாகிய இயேசுவின் நாமத்தினாலே அடையாளங்களும் அற்புதங்களும் நடக்கும்படி செய்து, பிணியாளிகளைக் குணமாக்கும்படி உம்முடைய கரத்தை நீட்டி, உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரர் உம்முடைய வசனத்தை முழுதைரியத்தோடும் சொல்லும்படி அவர்களுக்கு அநுக்கிரகஞ்செய்தருளும் என்றார்கள்.
By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

31 அவர்கள் ஜெபம்பண்ணினபோது அவர்கள் கூடியிருந்த இடம் அசைந்தது. அவர்களெல்லாரும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியினால் நிரப்பப்பட்டு, தேவவசனத்தைத் தைரிமாய்ச் சொன்னார்கள்.
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

32 விசுவாசிகளாகிய திரளான கூட்டத்தார் ஒரே இருதயமும் ஒரே மனமுமுள்ளவர்களாயிருந்தார்கள். ஒருவனாகிலும் தனக்குள்ளவைகளில் ஒன்றையும் தன்னுடையதென்று சொல்லவில்லை; சகலமும் அவர்களுக்குப் பொதுவாயிருந்தது.
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

33 கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவின் உயிர்த்தெழுதலைக்குறித்து அப்போஸ்தலர் மிகுந்த பலமாய்ச் சாட்சிகொடுத்தார்கள்; அவர்களெல்லார்மேலும் பூரண கிருபை உண்டாயிருந்தது.
And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

34 நிலங்களையும் வீடுகளையும் உடையவர்கள் அவர்களை விற்று, விற்கப்பட்டவைகளின் கிரயத்தைக் கொண்டுவந்து,
Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

35 அப்போஸ்தலருடைய பாதத்தில் வைத்தார்கள். அவனவனுக்குத் தேவையானதற்குத்தக்கதாய்ப் பகிர்ந்துகொடுக்கப்பட்டது; அவர்களில் ஒருவனுக்கும் ஒன்றும் குறைவாயிருந்ததில்லை.
And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

36 சீப்புருதீவானும் லேவியனும் அப்போஸ்தலராலே ஆறுதலின் மகன் என்று அர்த்தங்கொள்ளும் பர்னபா என்னும் மறுபேர்பெற்றவனுமாகிய யோசே என்பவன்,
And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,

37 தனக்கு உண்டாயிருந்த நிலத்தைவிற்று, அதின் கிரயத்தைக் கொண்டுவந்து, அப்போஸ்தலருடைய பாதத்திலே வைத்தான்.
Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
