அப்போஸ்தலர் 20
17 மிலேத்துவிலிருந்து அவன் எபேசுவுக்கு ஆள் அனுப்பி, சபையின் மூப்பரை வரவழைத்தான்.
18 அவர்கள் தன்னிடத்தில் வந்து சேர்ந்தபொழுது, அவன் அவர்களை நோக்கி: நான் ஆசியாநாட்டில் வந்த முதல்நாள் தொடங்கி எல்லாக் காலங்களிலும் உங்களுடனே இன்னவிதமாய் இருந்தேன் என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்கள்.
19 வெகு மனத்தாழ்மையோடும், மிகுந்த கண்ணீரோடும், யூதருடைய தீமையான யோசனைகளால் எனக்கு நேரிட்ட சோதனைகளோடும், நான் கர்த்தரைச் சேவித்தேன்.
20 பிரயோஜனமானவைகைளில் ஒன்றையும் நான் உங்களுக்கு மறைத்துவைக்காமல், வெளியரங்கமாக வீடுகள்தோறும் உங்களுக்கு பிரசங்கித்து உபதேசம்பண்ணி,
21 தேவனிடத்திற்கு மனந்திரும்புவதைக்குறித்தும், நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசிப்பதைக்குறித்தும், நான் யூதருக்கும் கிரேக்கருக்கும் சாட்சியாக அறிவித்தேன்.
22 இப்பொழுதும் நான் ஆவியிலே கட்டுண்டவனாய் எருசலேமுக்குப் போகிறேன்; அங்கே எனக்கு நேரிடுங்காரியங்களை நான் அறியேன்.
23 கட்டுகளும் உபத்திரவங்களும் எனக்கு வைத்திருக்கிறதென்று பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் பட்டணந்தோறும் தெரிவிக்கிறதைமாத்திரம் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.
24 ஆகிலும் அவைகளில் ஒன்றையுங்குறித்துக் கவலைப்படேன்; என் பிராணனையும் நான் அருமையாக எண்ணேன்; என் ஓட்டத்தைச் சந்தோஷத்தோடே முடிக்கவும், தேவனுடைய கிருபையின் சுவிசேஷத்தைப் பிரசங்கம்பண்ணும்படிக்கு நான் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவினிடத்தில் பெற்ற ஊழியத்தை நிறைவேற்றவுமே விரும்புகிறேன்.
25 இதோ, நான் உங்களுக்குள்ளே சஞ்சரித்து, தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தைக் குறித்துப் பிரசங்கம்பண்ணினதைக் கேட்டவர்களாகிய நீங்களெல்லாரும் இனி என் முகத்தைப் பார்க்கமாட்டீர்களென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.
26 தேவனுடைய ஆலோசனையில் ஒன்றையும் நான் மறைத்து வைக்காமல், எல்லாவற்றையும் உங்களுக்கு அறிவித்தபடியினாலே,
27 எல்லாருடைய இரத்தப்பழிக்கும் நீங்கி நான் சுத்தமாயிருக்கிறேனென்பதற்கு உங்களை இன்றையத்தினம் சாட்சிகளாக வைக்கிறேன்.
28 ஆகையால், உங்களைக்குறித்தும், தேவன் தம்முடைய சுயரத்தத்தினாலே சம்பாதித்துக்கொண்ட தமது சபையை மேய்ப்பதற்குப் பரிசுத்த ஆவி உங்களைக் கண்காணிகளாக வைத்த மந்தை முழுவதையுங்குறித்தும், எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்.
29 நான் போனபின்பு மந்தையைத் தப்பவிடாத கொடிதான ஓநாய்கள் உங்களுக்குள்ளே வரும்.
30 உங்களிலும் சிலர் எழும்பி, சீஷர்களைத் தங்களிடத்தில் இழுத்துக்கொள்ளும்படி மாறுபாடானவைகளைப் போதிப்பார்களென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.
31 ஆனபடியால், நான் மூன்றுவருஷகாலமாய் இரவும் பகலும் கண்ணீரோடே இடைவிடாமல் அவனவனுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லிக்கொண்டுவந்ததை நினைத்து விழித்திருங்கள்.
32 இப்பொழுதும் சகோதரரே, நீங்கள் பக்திவிருத்தியடையவும், பரிசுத்தமாகப்பட்ட அனைவருக்குள்ளும் உங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரத்தைக் கொடுக்கவும் வல்லவராயிருக்கிற தேவனுக்கும் அவருடைய கிருபையுள்ள வசனத்துக்கும் உங்களை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறேன்.
33 ஒருவனுடைய வெள்ளியையாகிலும் பொன்னையாகிலும் வஸ்திரத்தையாகிலும் நான் இச்சிக்கவில்லை.
34 நீங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறபடி, எனக்கும் என்னுடனேகூட இருந்தவர்களுக்கும் வேண்டியவைகளுக்காக இந்தக் கைகளே வேலைசெய்தது.
35 இப்படிப் பிரயாசப்பட்டு, பலவீனரைத் தாங்கவும், வாங்குகிறதைப்பார்க்கிலும் கொடுக்கிறதே பாக்கியம் என்று கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு சொன்ன வார்த்தைகளை நினைக்கவும் வேண்டுமென்று எல்லாவிதத்திலேயும் உங்களுக்குக் காண்பித்தேன் என்றான்.
36 இவைகளைச் சொன்னபின்பு, அவன் முழங்காற்படியிட்டு, அவர்களெல்லாரோடுங்கூட ஜெபம்பண்ணினான்.
37 அவர்கள் மிகவும் அழுது என் முகத்தை நீங்கள் இனிப் பார்க்கமாட்டீர்களென்று அவன் சொன்ன வார்த்தையைக்குறித்து அதிகமாய்த் துக்கப்பட்டு,
17 And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
18 And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,
19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
33 I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel.
34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
36 And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.
37 And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul’s neck, and kissed him,

10 ஒரு ஓய்வுநாளில் அவர் ஜெபஆலயத்தில் போதகம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்.
And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
11 அப்பொழுது பதினெட்டு வருஷமாய்ப் பலவீனப்படுத்தும் ஆவியைக் கொண்ட ஒரு ஸ்திரீ அங்கேயிருந்தாள். அவள் எவ்வளவும் நிமிரக்கூடாத கூனியாயிருந்தாள்.
And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
12 இயேசு அவளைக் கண்டு, தம்மிடத்தில் அழைத்து: ஸ்திரீயே, உன் பலவீனத்தினின்று விடுதலையாக்கப்பட்டாய் என்று சொல்லி,
And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
13 அவள்மேல் தமது கைகளை வைத்தார்; உடனே அவள் நிமிர்ந்து, தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தினாள்.
And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
14 இயேசு ஓய்வுநாளிலே சொஸ்தமாக்கினபடியால், ஜெபஆலயத்தலைவன் கோபமடைந்து, ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: வேலைசெய்கிறதற்கு ஆறுநாள் உண்டே, அந்த நாட்களிலே நீங்கள் வந்து சொஸ்தமாக்கிக்கொள்ளுங்கள், ஓய்வுநாளிலே அப்படிச் செய்யலாகாது என்றான்.
And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
15 கர்த்தர் அவனுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: மாயக்காரனே, உங்களில் எவனும் ஓய்வுநாளில் தன் எருதையாவது தன் கழுதையையாவது தொழுவத்திலிருந்து அவிழ்த்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அதற்குத் தண்ணீர் காட்டுகிறதில்லையா?
The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
16 இதோ, சாத்தான் பதினெட்டு வருஷமாய்க் கட்டியிருந்த ஆபிரகாமின் குமாரத்தியாகிய இவளை ஓய்வுநாளில் இந்தக்கட்டிலிருந்து அவிழ்த்துவிடவேண்டியதில்லையா என்றார்.
And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
17 அவர் அப்படிச் சொன்னபோது, அவரை விரோதித்திருந்த அனைவரும் வெட்கப்பட்டார்கள். ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் அவரால் செய்யப்பட்ட சகல மகிமையான செய்கைகளைக்குறித்தும் சந்தோஷப்பட்டார்கள்.
And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
18 அவர் அவர்களை நோக்கி: தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் எதற்கொப்பாயிருக்கிறது; அதை எதற்கு ஒப்பிடுவேன்?
Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?
19 அது ஒரு கடுகுவிதைக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது; அதை ஒரு மனுஷன் எடுத்துத் தன் தோட்டத்திலே போட்டான்; அது வளர்ந்து, பெரிய மரமாயிற்று; ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள் வந்து, அதின் கிளைகளில் அடைந்தது என்றார்.
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.
20 மேலும் அவர்: தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தை நான் எதற்கு ஒப்பிடுவேன்?
And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?
21 அது புளித்தமாவுக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது; அதை ஒரு ஸ்திரீ எடுத்து முழுவதும் புளிக்கும்வரைக்கும் மூன்றுபடிமாவிலே அடக்கிவைத்தாள் என்றார்.
It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
22 அவர் எருசலேமுக்குப் பிரயாணமாய்ப் போகும்போது, பட்டணங்கள்தோறும் கிராமங்கள்தோறும் உபதேசம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டு போனார்.
And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
23 அப்பொழுது ஒருவன் அவரை நோக்கி: ஆண்டவரே, இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிறவர்கள் சிலபேர்தானோ என்று கேட்டான்; அதற்கு அவர்:
Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
24 இடுக்கமான வாசல்வழியாய் உட்பிரவேசிக்கப் பிரயாசப்படுங்கள், அநேகர் உட்பிரவேசிக்க வகைதேடினாலும் அவர்களாலே கூடாமற்போகும் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
25 வீட்டெஜமான் எழுந்து, கதவைப்பூட்டின பின்பு, நீங்கள் வெளியே நின்று ஆண்டவரே, ஆண்டவரே, எங்களுக்குத்திறக்க வேண்டுமென்று சொல்லிக் கதவைத் தட்டும்போது, அவர் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: நீங்கள் எவ்விடத்தாரோ, உங்களை அறியேன் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுவார்.
When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
26 அப்பொழுது நீங்கள்: உம்முடைய சமுகத்தில் போஜனபானம்பண்ணினோமே, நீர் எங்கள் வீதிகளில் போதகம்பண்ணினீரே என்று சொல்லுவீர்கள்.
Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
27 ஆனாலும் அவர்: நீங்கள் எவ்விடத்தாரோ, உங்களை அறியேன், அக்கிரமக்காரராகிய நீங்களெல்லாரும் என்னைவிட்டு அகன்றுபோங்கள் என்று சொல்வார் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
28 நீங்கள் ஆபிரகாமையும் ஈசாக்கையும் யாக்கோபையும் சகல தீர்க்கதரிசிகளையும் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்திலிருக்கிறவர்களாகவும், உங்களையோ புறம்பே தள்ளப்பட்டவர்களாகவும் காணும்போது உங்களுக்கு அழுகையும் பற்கடிப்பும் அங்கே உண்டாயிருக்கும்.
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
29 கிழக்கிலும் மேற்கிலும் வடக்கிலும் தெற்கிலும் இருந்து ஜனங்கள் வந்து, தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் பந்தியிருப்பார்கள்.
And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
30 அப்பொழுது முந்தினோர் பிந்தினோராவார்கள், பிந்தினோர் முந்தினோராவார்கள் என்றார்.
And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
31 அந்த நாளிலே சில பரிசேயர் அவரிடத்தில் வந்து: நீர் இவ்விடத்தை விட்டுப் போய்விடும்; ஏரோது உம்மைக்கொலைசெய்ய மனதாய் இருக்கிறான் என்றார்கள்.
The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
32 அதற்கு அவர்: நான் இன்றைக்கும் நாளைக்கும் பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்தி, வியாதியுள்ளவர்களைச் சொஸ்தமாக்கி, மூன்றாம்நாளில் நிறைவடைவேன்.
And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.
33 இன்றைக்கும் நாளைக்கும் மறுநாளைக்கும் நான் நடமாடவேண்டும்; எருசலேமுக்குப் புறம்பே ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசியும் மடிந்துபோகிறதில்லையென்று நான் சொன்னதாக, நீங்கள் போய் அந்த நரிக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்.
Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
34 எருசலேமே, எருசலேமே, தீர்க்கதரிசிகளைக் கொலைசெய்து, உன்னிடத்தில் அனுப்பப்பட்டவர்களைக் கல்லெறிகிறவளே! கோழி தன் குஞ்சுகளைத் தன்சிறகுகளின் கீழே கூட்டிச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளும்வண்ணமாக நான் எத்தனைதரமோ உன் பிள்ளைகளைக் கூட்டிச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தேன்; உங்களுக்கோ மனதில்லாமற்போயிற்று.
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
