யோசேப்பு என்னும் பேர்கொண்ட ஒரு ஆலோசனைக்காரன் இருந்தான்; அவன் உத்தமனும் நீதிமானுமாயிருந்தான்.

அப்படி நாளுக்குநாள் இருந்து, இரண்டு வருடங்கள் முடிகிற காலத்தில் அவனுக்கு இருந்த கொடிய நோயினால் அவன் குடல்கள் சரிந்து இறந்துபோனான்; அவனுடைய பிதாக்களுக்காகக் கந்தவர்க்கங்களைக் கொளுத்தினதுபோல், அவனுடைய மக்கள் அவனுக்காகக் கொளுத்தவில்லை.

பிறகு இரண்டாண்டுகள் கழிந்து அவனது நோயின் காரணமாக குடல் வெளியில் வந்தது. அவன் மிகுந்த வலியால் மரித்துப்போனான். இவனது தந்தைக்கு வாசனை பொருட்களை எரித்ததுபோல் இவனுக்கு ஜனங்கள் எரிக்கவில்லை.
