பின்னும் அவர் உபதேசம்பண்ணுகையில் அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீண்ட அங்கிகளைத் தரித்துக்கொண்டு திரியவும், சந்தைவெளிகளில் வந்தனங்களை அடையவும்,

எனவே தீரு ஜனங்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள், “நமக்குப் பாபிலோன் ஜனங்கள் உதவுவார்கள்! ஆனால் கல்தேயருடைய நாட்டைப் பார். இப்பொழுது பாபிலோன் ஒரு நாடாகவே இல்லை. அசீரியா பாபிலோனைத் தாக்கியது. அதைச்சுற்றிலும் போர்க் கோபுரங்களைக் கட்டியது. வீரர்கள், அழகான வீடுகளில் இருந்து எல்லாவற்றையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டனர். பாபிலோனைக் காட்டு மிருகங்களுக்குரிய இடமாக அசீரியா செய்தது. பாபிலோனை அழிவுக்கேற்ற இடமாக மாற்றியது.
