நாசரேத்து என்னும் ஊரிலே வந்து வாசம் பண்ணினான். நசரேயன் என்னப்படுவார் என்று, தீர்க்கதரிசிகளால் உரைக்கப்பட்டது நிறைவேறும்படி இப்படி நடந்தது.

மகா சபையிலே நீதியைப் Ecclesiastesத்தேன்; என் உதடுகளை மூடேன், கர்த்தாவே, நீர் அதை அறிவீர்.

அவர் அவ்விடம் விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, தாம் வளர்ந்த ஊருக்கு வந்தார்; அவருடைய சீஷரும் அவரோடேகூட வந்தார்கள்.

அவர் தமக்குச் சொந்தமானதிலே வந்தார், அவருக்குச் சொந்தமானவர்களோ அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை.
