பென்யமீன் எல்லையருகே கீழ்த்திசை துவக்கி மேற்றிசைமட்டும் சிமியோனுக்கு ஒரு பங்கும்,

அப்பொழுது ஆமோத்சின் மகனாகிய ஏசாயா எசேக்கியாவுக்குச் சொல்லியனுப்பினது: இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், அசீரியா ராஜாவாகிய சனகெரிப்பினிமித்தம் நீ என்னை நோக்கிச் செய்த விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டேன்.

அப்போது அமோத்சின் மகனான ஏசாயா எசேக்கியாவிற்கு ஒரு செய்தியை அனுப்பினான். அவன், “இஸ்ரவேலரின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், ‘நீ அசீரிய அரசனான சனகெரிபிற்கு எதிராக செய்த ஜெபங்களை நான் கேட்டுக்கொண்டேன்’ என்று சொன்னார்” என்றான்.
