நான் யூதாதேசத்திலே அதிபதியாயிருக்கும்படி ராஜாவாகிய அர்தசஷ்டா எனக்குக் கற்பித்த நாளாகிய அவருடைய இருபதாம் வருஷம் தொடங்கி, அவருடைய முப்பத்திரண்டாம் வருஷம் வரைக்கும் இருந்த பன்னிரண்டு வருஷகாலமாய், நானும் என் சகோதரரும் அதிபதிகள் வாங்குகிற படியை வாங்கிச் சாப்பிடவில்லை.
