அதைத் தன்னிடத்தில் தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் கொண்டுவர மனதில்லால், கித்தியனாகிய ஓபேத்ஏதோமின் வீட்டிலேகொண்டுபோய் வைத்தான்.

ஆகையால் தாவீதின் நகரத்திற்குள் கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தப் பெட்டியைக் கொண்டு வரவில்லை. காத் ஊரானாகிய ஓபேத் ஏதோமின் வீட்டில் தாவீது பரிசுத்தப் பெட்டியை வைத்தான். போரடிக்கும் களத்திலிருந்து ஓபேத் ஏதோமின் வீடுவரைக்கும் கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தப் பெட்டியை தாவீது சுமந்து வந்தான்.
