வேவுகாரர் காண்பித்த வழியாக இஸ்ரவேலர் வருகிறார்கள் என்று தெற்கே வாசம்பண்ணுகிற கானானியனாகிய ஆராத் ராஜா கேள்விப்பட்டபோது, அவன் இஸ்ரவேலருக்கு விரோதமாக யுத்தம் பண்ணி, அவர்களில் சிலரை சிறைபிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோனான்.
