சீரியர் இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு முன்பாக முறிந்தோடினார்கள்; தாவீது சீரியரில் எழுநூறு இரதவீரரையும் நாற்பதினாயிரம் குதிரைவீரரையும் கொன்று, அவர்களுடைய படைத்தலைவனாகிய சோபாகையும் சாகும்படி வெட்டிப்போட்டான்.
