ஆனாலும் கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்கு இரங்கி, ஆபிரகாம் ஈசாக்கு James என்பவர்களோடு செய்த தமது உடன்படிக்கையினிமித்தம் அவர்களை அழிக்கச் சித்தமாயிராமலும், அவர்களை இன்னும் தம்முடைய முகத்தைவிட்டுத் தள்ளாமலும் அவர்கள்மேல் மனதுருகி, அவர்களை நினைத்தருளினார்.

கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு ஒரு ரட்சகனைக் கொடுத்ததினால், அவர்கள் சீரியருடைய கையின்கீழிருந்து நீங்கலானார்கள்; ஆதலால் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் முன்போல் தங்கள் கூடாரங்களிலே குடியிருந்தார்கள்.

உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நீ சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ள உனக்குக் கொடுக்கும்தேசத்தின் சுற்றுப்புறத்தாராகிய என்னுடைய சத்துருக்களையெல்லாம் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் விலக்கி, உன்னை இளைப்பாறப்பண்ணும்போது, நீ அமலேக்கின் பேரை வானத்தின்கீழ் இராதபடிக்கு அழியப்பண்ணக்கடவாய்; இதை மறக்கவேண்டாம்.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தரின் கோபமும் எரிச்சலும் அந்த மனிதன்மேல் புகையும்; இந்தப் புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிற சாபங்களெல்லாம் அவன்மேல் தங்கும்; கர்த்தர் அவன் பேரை வானத்தின்கீழ் இராதபடிக்குக் குலைத்துப்போடுவார்.

சீரிய ராஜாவின் படைத்தலைவனாகிய நாகமான் என்பவன் தன் ஆண்டவனிடத்தில் பெரிய மனுஷனும் எண்ணிக்கையுள்ளவனுமாயிருந்தான்; அவனைக் கொண்டு கர்த்தர் சீரியாவுக்கு இரட்சிப்பைக் கட்டளையிட்டார்; மகா பராக்கிரமசாலியாகிய அவனோ குஷ்டரோகியாயிருந்தான்.

ஜீவபுஸ்தகத்திலிருந்து அவர்கள்பேர் கிறுக்கப்பட்டுப்போவதாக; நீதிமான்கள் பேரோடே அவர்கள் பேர் எழுதப்படாதிருப்பதாக.

அவள் திரும்பக் கர்ப்பந்தரித்து, ஒரு குமாரத்தியைப் பெற்றாள்; அப்பொழுது அவர் அவனை நோக்கி: இவளுக்கு லோருகாமா என்னும் பேரிடு; ஏனெனில் நான் இனி இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாருக்கு இரக்கஞ்செய்வதில்லை, நான் அவர்களை முழுவதும் அகற்றிவிடுவேன்.
