அவனுடைய நிருபங்கள் பாரயோசனையும் பலமுமுள்ளவைகள்; சரீரத்தின் தோற்றமோ பலவீனமும், வசனம் அற்பமுமாயிருக்கிறதென்கிறார்களே.

நாம் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகள் என்று அழைக்கப்படுவதினாலே பிதாவானவர் நமக்குப் பாராட்டின அன்பு எவ்வளவு பெரியது என்று உணர்ந்து பாருங்கள்; உலகம் அவரை அறியாதபடியினாலே நம்மையும் அறியவில்லை.

பிதா நம்மை மிகவும் நேசித்தார்! நாம் தேவனின் பிள்ளைகள் என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம். ஆனால் உலகத்தின் மக்களோ நாம் தேவனின் பிள்ளைகள் என்பதைப் புரிந்துகொள்வதில்லை. அதற்குக் காரணம் தேவனை அவர்கள் அறியாமல் இருப்பது ஆகும்.
