2 Chronicles 25 in Tamil

1 அமத்சியா இருபத்தைந்தாம் வயதிலே ராஜாவாகி, இருபத்தொன்பது வருஷம் எருசலேமில் அரசாண்டான்; எருசலேம் நகரத்தாளாகிய அவனுடைய தாயின்பேர் யோவதானாள். Amaziah was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem.

2 அவன் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானதைச் செய்தான்; ஆனாலும் முழுமனதோடே அப்படிச் செய்யவில்லை. And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, but not with a perfect heart.

3 ராஜ்யபாரம் அவனுக்கு ஸ்திரப்பட்டபோது, அவன் தன் தகப்பனாகிய ராஜாவைக் கொலைசெய்த தன்னுடைய ஊழியக்காரரைக் கொன்றுபோட்டான். Now it came to pass, when the kingdom was established to him, that he slew his servants that had killed the king his father.

4 ஆனாலும் பிள்ளைகளினிமித்தம் பிதாக்களும், பிதாக்களினிமித்தம் பிள்ளைகளும் கொலைசெய்யப்படாமல், அவனவன் செய்த பாவத்தினிமித்தம் அவனவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டுமென்று மோசேயின் நியாயப்பிரமாண புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி, கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டபிரகாரம், அவர்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளை அவன் கொல்லாதிருந்தான். But he slew not their children, but did as it is written in the law in the book of Moses, where the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall die for his own sin.

5 அமத்சியா யூதா மனுஷரைக் கூடிவரச் செய்து, அவர்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படியே, யூதா பென்யமீன் தேசங்கள் எங்கும் ஆயிரம்பேருக்கு அதிபதிகளையும் நூறுபேருக்கு அதிபதிகளையும் வைத்து, இருபது வயதுமுதற்கொண்டு அதற்கு மேற்பட்டவர்களை இலக்கம்பார்த்து, யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படவும், சட்டியையும் கேடகத்தையும் பிடிக்கவுந்தக்க யுத்தவீரர் மூன்றுலட்சம்பேரென்று கண்டான். Moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to the houses of their fathers, throughout all Judah and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and above, and found them three hundred thousand choice men, able to go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield.

6 இஸ்ரவேலிலும் லட்சம் பராக்கிரமசாலிகளை நூறுதாலந்து வெள்ளி கொடுத்துக் கூலிக்கு அமர்த்தினான். He hired also an hundred thousand mighty men of valor out of Israel for an hundred talents of silver.

7 தேவனுடைய மனுஷன் ஒருவன் அவனிடத்தில் வந்து: ராஜாவே, இஸ்ரவேலின் சேனை உம்முடனே வரலாகாது; கர்த்தர் எப்பிராயீமின் சகல புத்திரராகிய இஸ்ரவேலோடும் இருக்கவில்லை. But there came a man of God to him, saying, O king, let not the army of Israel go with thee; for the LORD is not with Israel, to wit, with all the children of Ephraim.

8 போக மனதானால் நீர் போம், காரியத்தை நடத்தும்; யுத்தத்திற்குத் திடன்கொண்டு நில்லும்; தேவன் உம்மைச் சத்துருவுக்கு முன்பாக விழப்பண்ணுவார்; ஒத்தாசை செய்யவும் விழப்பண்ணவும் தேவனாலே கூடும் என்றான். But if thou wilt go, do it; be strong for the battle: God shall make thee fall before the enemy: for God hath power to help, and to cast down.

9 அப்பொழுது அமத்சியா: அப்படியானால் நான் இஸ்ரவேலின் சேனைக்குக் கொடுத்த நூறுதாலந்திற்காகச் செய்யவேண்டியது என்ன என்று தேவனுடைய மனுஷனைக் கேட்டான். அதற்கு தேவனுடைய மனுஷன்: அதைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய்க் கர்த்தர் உமக்குக் கொடுக்கக்கூடும் என்றான். And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD is able to give thee much more than this.

10 அப்பொழுது அமத்சியா எப்பிராயீமரில் தன்னிடத்துக்கு வந்த சேனையைத் தங்கள் வீட்டிற்குப் போய்விடப் பிரித்துவிட்டான்; அதினால் அவர்களுக்கு யூதாவின்மேல் மிகுந்த கோபமூண்டு, உக்கிரமான எரிச்சலோடே தங்களிடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப்போனார்கள். Then Amaziah separated them, to wit, the army that was come to him out of Ephraim, to go home again: wherefore their anger was greatly kindled against Judah, and they returned home in great anger.

11 அமத்சியாவோ திடன்கொண்டு, தன் ஜனத்தைக் கூட்டி, உப்புப் பள்ளத்தாக்குக்குப் போய், சேயீர் புத்திரரில் பதினாயிரம்பேரை வெட்டினான். And Amaziah strengthened himself, and led forth his people, and went to the valley of salt, and smote of the children of Seir ten thousand.

12 யூதா புத்திரர், பதினாயிரம்பேரை உயிரோடு பிடித்து, ஒரு கன்மலையுச்சியிலே கொண்டுபோய், அவர்களெல்லாரும் நொறுங்கிப்போகத்தக்கதாய் அந்தக் கன்மலையுச்சியிலிருந்து கீழே தள்ளிவிட்டார்கள். And other ten thousand left alive did the children of Judah carry away captive, and brought them unto the top of the rock, and cast them down from the top of the rock, that they all were broken in pieces.

13 தன்னோடுகூட யுத்தத்திற்கு வராதபடிக்கு, அமத்சியா திருப்பிவிட்ட யுத்தபுருஷர், சமாரியா துவக்கிப் பெத்தொரோன்மட்டுமுள்ள யூதா பட்டணங்களின்மேல் விழுந்து, அவைகளில் மூவாயிரம்பேரை வெட்டி, திரளாய்க் கொள்ளையிட்டார்கள். But the soldiers of the army which Amaziah sent back, that they should not go with him to battle, fell upon the cities of Judah, from Samaria even unto Bethhoron, and smote three thousand of them, and took much spoil.

14 அமத்சியா ஏதோமியரை முறிய அடித்து, சேயீர் புத்திரரின் தெய்வங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்தபின்பு, அவன் அவைகளைத் தனக்கு தெய்வங்களாக வைத்து, அவைகளுக்கு முன்பாகப் பணிந்து அவைகளுக்குத் தூபங்காட்டினான். Now it came to pass, after that Amaziah was come from the slaughter of the Edomites, that he brought the gods of the children of Seir, and set them up to be his gods, and bowed down himself before them, and burned incense unto them.

15 அப்பொழுது, கர்த்தர் அமத்சியாவின்மேல் கோபமூண்டவராகி, அவனிடத்துக்கு ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசியை அனுப்பினார்; இவன் அவனை நோக்கி: தங்கள் ஜனத்தை உமது கைக்குத் தப்புவிக்காதேபோன ஜனத்தின் தெய்வங்களை நீர் நாடுவானேன் என்றான். Wherefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against Amaziah, and he sent unto him a prophet, which said unto him, Why hast thou sought after the gods of the people, which could not deliver their own people out of thine hand?

16 தன்னோடே அவன் இப்படிப் பேசினபோது, ராஜா அவனை நோக்கி: உன்னை ராஜாவுக்கு ஆலோசனைக்காரனாக வைத்தார்களோ? அதை விட்டுவிடு; நீ ஏன் வெட்டப்படவேண்டும் என்றான்; அப்பொழுது அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசி அதைவிட்டுவிட்டு: நீர் இப்படிச் செய்து, என் ஆலோசனையைக் கேளாமற்போனபடியினால், தேவன் உம்மை அழிக்க யோசனையாயிருக்கிறார் என்பதை அறிவேன் என்றான். And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that the king said unto him, Art thou made of the king's counsel? forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? Then the prophet forbare, and said, I know that God hath determined to destroy thee, because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened unto my counsel.

17 பின்பு யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அமத்சியா யோசனைபண்ணி, யெகூவின் குமாரனாகிய யோவாகாசின் புத்திரன் யோவாஸ் என்னும் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவுக்கு: நம்முடைய சாமர்த்தியத்தைப் பார்ப்போம்வா என்று சொல்லியனுப்பினான். Then Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face.

18 அதற்கு இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய யோவாஸ் யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அமத்சியாவுக்கு ஆள் அனுப்பி: லீபனோனிலுள்ள முட்செடியானது லீபனோனிலுள்ள கேதுருமரத்தை நோக்கி: நீ உன் மகளை என் மகனுக்கு மனைவியாக விவாகஞ்செய்து கொடு என்று கேட்கச்சொல்லிற்று; ஆனாலும் லீபனோனிலுள்ள ஒருகாட்டுமிருகம் அந்த வழி போகையில் ஓடி அந்த முட்செடியை மிதித்துப்போட்டது. And Joash king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle.

19 நீ ஏதோமியரை அடித்தாய் என்று பெருமைபாராட்ட உன் இருதயம் உன்னைக் கர்வங்கொள்ளப்பண்ணினது; இப்போதும் நீ உன் வீட்டிலே இரு; நீயும் உன்னோடே யூதாவும்கூட விழும்படிக்கு, பொல்லாப்பைத் தேடிக்கொள்வானேன் என்று சொல்லச்சொன்னான். Thou sayest, Lo, thou hast smitten the Edomites; and thine heart lifteth thee up to boast: abide now at home; why shouldest thou meddle to thine hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?

20 ஆனாலும் அமத்சியா செவிகொடாதேபோனான்; அவர்கள் ஏதோமின் தெய்வங்களை நாடினதினிமித்தம் அவர்களை அவர்கள் சத்துருக்கள் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்படிக்கு தேவனாலே இப்படி நடந்தது. But Amaziah would not hear; for it came of God, that he might deliver them into the hand of their enemies, because they sought after the gods of Edom.

21 அப்படியே இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய யோவாஸ் வந்தான்; யூதாவிலிருக்கிற பெத்ஷிமேசிலே அவனும், அமத்சியா என்னும் யூதாவின் ராஜாவும் தங்கள் சாமர்த்தியத்தைப் பார்த்தார்கள். So Joash the king of Israel went up; and they saw one another in the face, both he and Amaziah king of Judah, at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah.

22 யூதா இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு முன்பாக முறிந்து, அவரவர் தங்கள் கூடாரங்களுக்கு ஓடிப்போனார்கள். And Judah was put to the worse before Israel, and they fled every man to his tent.

23 இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய யோவாஸ் அகசியாவின் குமாரனாகிய யோவாசுக்குப் பிறந்த அமத்சியா என்னும் யூதாவின் ராஜாவைப் பெத்மேசிலே பிடித்து, அவனை எருசலேமுக்குக்கொண்டுவந்து, எருசலேமின் அலங்கத்திலே எப்பிராயீம் வாசல்தொடங்கி மூலைவாசல்மட்டும் நானூறுமுழ நீளம் இடித்துப்போட்டு, And Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits.

24 தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தில் ஓபேத் ஏதோமின் வசத்திலே அகப்பட்ட சகல பொன்னையும், வெள்ளியையும், சகல பணிமுட்டுகளையும், ராஜாவின் அரமனைப்பொக்கிஷங்களையும், கிரியிருப்பவர்களையும், பிடித்துக்கொண்டு சமாரியாவுக்குத் திரும்பிப்போனான். And he took all the gold and the silver, and all the vessels that were found in the house of God with Obededom, and the treasures of the king's house, the hostages also, and returned to Samaria.

25 யோவாகாசின் குமாரனாகிய யோவாஸ் என்னும் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜா மரணமடைந்தபின்பு, யோவாசின் குமாரனாகிய அமத்சியா என்னும் யூதாவின் ராஜா பதினைந்து வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்தான். And Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah lived after the death of Joash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel fifteen years.

26 அமத்சியாவின் ஆதியோடந்த நடபடியான மற்ற வர்த்தமானங்கள் யூதா இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் புஸ்தகத்தில் அல்லவோ எழுதியிருக்கிறது. Now the rest of the acts of Amaziah, first and last, behold, are they not written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel?

27 அமத்சியா கர்த்தரை விட்டுப் பின்வாங்கின காலமுதற்கொண்டு எருசலேமிலிருந்தவர்கள் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாகக் கட்டுப்பாடுபண்ணிக்கொண்டார்கள்; அதினிமித்தம் அவன் லாகீசுக்கு ஓடிப்போனான்; ஆனாலும் அவன் பிறகே லாகீசுக்கு மனுஷரை அனுப்பினார்கள்; அவர்கγ் அங்கே அவனȠΕ் கொன்றுபǠξட்டு, Now after the time that Amaziah did turn away from following the LORD they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem; and he fled to Lachish: but they sent to Lachish after him, and slew him there.

28 குதிரைகள்மேல் அவனை எடுத்துவந்து, யூதாவின் நகரத்தில் அவன் பிதாக்களண்டையிலே அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள். And they brought him upon horses, and buried him with his fathers in the city of Judah.

1 Amathsiyaa irupaththainthaam vayathilae raajaavaaki, irupaththonpathu varusham erusalaemil arasaanndaan; Jerusalem nakaraththaalaakiya avanutaiya thaayinpaer yovathaanaal. Amaziah was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem.

2 Avan karththarin paarvaikkuch semmaiyaanathaich seythaan; aanaalum mulumanathotae appatich seyyavillai. And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, but not with a perfect heart.

3 Raajyapaaram avanukku sthirappattapothu, avan than thakappanaakiya raajaavaik kolaiseytha thannutaiya ooliyakkaararaik kontupottan. Now it came to pass, when the kingdom was established to him, that he slew his servants that had killed the king his father.

4 Aanaalum pillaikalinimiththam pithaakkalum, pithaakkalinimiththam pillaikalum kolaiseyyappadaamal, avanavan seytha paavaththinimiththam avanavan kolaiseyyappadavaenndumentu Mosesyin niyaayappiramaana pusthakaththil eluthiyirukkirapati, Karththar kattalaiyittapirakaaram, avarkalutaiya pillaikalai avan kollaathirunthaan. But he slew not their children, but did as it is written in the law in the book of Moses, where the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall die for his own sin.

5 Amathsiyaa yoothaa manusharaik kootivarach seythu, avarkal pithaakkalutaiya vamsangalinpatiyae, yoothaa penyameen thaesangal engum aayirampaerukku athipathikalaiyum nooraுpaerukku athipathikalaiyum vaiththu, irupathu vayathumutharkonndu atharku maerpattavarkalai ilakkampaarththu, yuththaththirkup purappadavum, sattiyaiyum kaedakaththaiyum pitikkavunthakka yuththaveerar moontulatchampaerentu kanndaan. 6 Isravaelilum latcham paraakkiramasaalikalai nooraுthaalanthu velli koduththuk koolikku amarththinaan. He hired also an hundred thousand mighty men of valor out of Israel for an hundred talents of silver.

7 Thaevanutaiya manushan oruvan avanidaththil vanthu: raajaavae, isravaelin senai ummudanae varalaakaathu; Karththar eppiraayeemin sakala puththiraraakiya isravaelodum irukkavillai. But there came a man of God to him, saying, O king, let not the army of Israel go with thee; for the LORD is not with Israel, to wit, with all the children of Ephraim.

8 Poka manathaanaal neer pom, kaariyaththai nadaththum; yuththaththirkuth thidankonndu nillum; Dhevan ummaich saththuruvukku munpaaka vilappannnuvaar; oththaasai seyyavum vilappannnavum thaevanaalae koodum entan. But if thou wilt go, do it; be strong for the battle: God shall make thee fall before the enemy: for God hath power to help, and to cast down.

9 Appoluthu amathsiyaa: appatiyaanaal naan isravaelin senaikkuk koduththa nooraுthaalanthirkaakach seyyavaenntiyathu enna entu thaevanutaiya manushanaik kaettan. Atharku thaevanutaiya manushan: athaippaarkkilum athikamaayk Karththar umakkuk kodukkakkoodum entan. And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD is able to give thee much more than this.

10 Appoluthu amathsiyaa eppiraayeemaril thannidaththukku vantha senaiyaith thangal veettirkup poyvidap piriththuvittan; athinaal avarkalukku yoothaavinmael mikuntha kopamoonndu, ukkiramaana erichchalotae thangalidaththirkuth thirumpipponaarkal. Then Amaziah separated them, to wit, the army that was come to him out of Ephraim, to go home again: wherefore their anger was greatly kindled against Judah, and they returned home in great anger.

11 Amathsiyaavo thidankonndu, than janaththaik kootti, uppup pallaththaakkukkup poy, seyeer puththiraril pathinaayirampaerai vettinaan. And Amaziah strengthened himself, and led forth his people, and went to the valley of salt, and smote of the children of Seir ten thousand.

12 Yoothaa puththirar, pathinaayirampaerai uyirodu pitiththu, oru kanmalaiyuchchiyilae konndupoy, avarkalellaarum noraுngippokaththakkathaay anthak kanmalaiyuchchiyilirunthu geelae thallivittarkal. And other ten thousand left alive did the children of Judah carry away captive, and brought them unto the top of the rock, and cast them down from the top of the rock, that they all were broken in pieces.

13 Thannodukooda yuththaththirku varaathapatikku, amathsiyaa thiruppivitta yuththapurushar, samaariyaa thuvakkip peththoronmattumulla yoothaa pattanangalinmael vilunthu, avaikalil moovaayirampaerai vetti, thiralaayk kollaiyittarkal. 14 Amathsiyaa aethomiyarai muriya atiththu, seyeer puththirarin theyvangalaik konnduvanthapinpu, avan avaikalaith thanakku theyvangalaaka vaiththu, avaikalukku munpaakap panninthu avaikalukkuth thoopangaattinaan. Now it came to pass, after that Amaziah was come from the slaughter of the Edomites, that he brought the gods of the children of Seir, and set them up to be his gods, and bowed down himself before them, and burned incense unto them.

15 Appoluthu, Karththar amathsiyaavinmael kopamoonndavaraaki, avanidaththukku oru theerkkatharisiyai anuppinaar; ivan avanai Nnokki: thangal janaththai umathu kaikkuth thappuvikkaathaepona janaththin theyvangalai neer naaduvaanaen entan. Wherefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against Amaziah, and he sent unto him a prophet, which said unto him, Why hast thou sought after the gods of the people, which could not deliver their own people out of thine hand?

16 Thannotae avan ippatip paesinapothu, raajaa avanai Nnokki: unnai raajaavukku aalosanaikkaaranaaka vaiththaarkalo? Athai vittuvidu; nee aen vettappadavaenndum entan; appoluthu anthath theerkkatharisi athaivittuvittu: neer ippatich seythu, en aalosanaiyaik kaelaamarponapatiyinaal, Dhevan ummai alikka yosanaiyaayirukkiraar enpathai arivaen entan. And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that the king said unto him, Art thou made of the king's counsel? forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? 17 Pinpu yoothaavin raajaavaakiya amathsiyaa yosanaipannnni, yekoovin kumaaranaakiya yovaakaasin puththiran yovaas ennum isravaelin raajaavukku: nammutaiya saamarththiyaththaip paarppomvaa entu solliyanuppinaan. Then Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face.

18 Atharku isravaelin raajaavaakiya yovaas yoothaavin raajaavaakiya amathsiyaavukku aal anuppi: leepanonilulla mutchediyaanathu leepanonilulla kaethurumaraththai Nnokki: nee un makalai en makanukku manaiviyaaka vivaakanjaெythu kodu entu kaetkachchaொllittaு; aanaalum leepanonilulla orukaattumirukam antha vali pokaiyil oti antha mutchediyai mithiththuppottathu. And Joash king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle.

19 Nee aethomiyarai atiththaay entu perumaipaaraatta un iruthayam unnaik karvangaொllappannnninathu; ippothum nee un veettilae iru; neeyum unnotae yoothaavumkooda vilumpatikku, pollaappaith thaetikkolvaanaen entu sollachchaொnnaan. Thou sayest, Lo, thou hast smitten the Edomites; and thine heart lifteth thee up to boast: abide now at home; why shouldest thou meddle to thine hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?

20 Aanaalum amathsiyaa sevikodaathaeponaan; avarkal aethomin theyvangalai naatinathinimiththam avarkalai avarkal saththurukkal kaiyil oppukkodukkumpatikku thaevanaalae ippati nadanthathu. But Amaziah would not hear; for it came of God, that he might deliver them into the hand of their enemies, because they sought after the gods of Edom.

21 Appatiyae isravaelin raajaavaakiya yovaas vanthaan; yoothaavilirukkira pethshimaesilae avanum, amathsiyaa ennum yoothaavin raajaavum thangal saamarththiyaththaip paarththaarkal. So Joash the king of Israel went up; and they saw one another in the face, both he and Amaziah king of Judah, at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah.

22 Yoothaa isravaelukku munpaaka murinthu, avaravar thangal koodaarangalukku otipponaarkal. And Judah was put to the worse before Israel, and they fled every man to his tent.
