தாவீது சிக்லாகுக்கு வந்தபோது, அவன் கொள்ளையாடினவைகளிலே தன் சிநேகிதராகிய யூதாவின் மூப்பருக்குச் சிலவற்றை அனுப்பி: இதோ, கர்த்தருடைய சத்துருக்களின் கொள்ளையில் உங்களுக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கும் ஆசீர்வாதபாகம் என்று சொல்லச்சொன்னான்.

தாவீது சிக்லாகை வந்தடைந்தான். யூதாவின் தலைவர்களுக்கும் அவனது நண்பர்களுக்கும் அமலேக்கியரிடம் அபகரித்தப் பொருட்களில் சிலவற்றை அன்பளிப்பாகக் கொடுத்தான். அவன் “கர்த்தருடைய பகைவரிடமிருந்து வென்று எடுத்தப் பொருட்களை உங்களுக்குத் தருகிறோம்” என்றான்.
