அப்படியே நான் நதிக்கு மறுபுறத்திலிருக்கிற ஆளுநர்களிடத்திற்கு வந்து, ராஜாவின் கடிதங்களை அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்; ராஜா என்னோடு இராணுவ அதிகாரிகளையும், குதிரைவீரர்களையும் அனுப்பியிருந்தார்.

எனவே, நான் ஐபிராத்து நதியின் மேற்குப் பகுதியின் ஆளுநர்களிடம் சென்றேன். அரசனிடமிருந்து பெற்ற கடிதங்களை ஆளுநர்களிடம் கொடுத்தேன். அரசன் என்னுடன் படை அதிகாரிகளையும் குதிரை வீரர்களையும் அனுப்பியிருந்தான்.
