ஆசா தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்தபின், தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதின் நகரத்திலே தன் பிதாக்களண்டையில் அடக்கம்பண்ணப்பட்டான்; அவன் குமாரனாகிய யோசபாத் அவன் ஸ்தானத்திலே ராஜாவானான்.

ஆசா இறந்தபின்பு தன்னுடைய முன்னோர்களோடு, தன்னுடைய தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டான்; அவனுடைய மகனாகிய யோசபாத் அவனுடைய இடத்திலே ராஜாவானான்.
