ரெகொபெயாம் தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்து, தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் தன் பிதாக்களண்டையில் அடக்கம்பண்ணப்பட்டான்; அம்மோன் ஜாதியான அவன் தாய்க்கு நாமாள் என்று பேர்; அவன் குமாரனாகிய அபியாம் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.
